渠非予所素識、惟予之來茲授洗、正為顯揚斯人於義塞之民耳。』如望又為之作證、曰：『予見聖神作鴿狀、自天而降、棲止其上。予雖未之素識、惟遣予授洗者曾誥予曰：「汝見聖神降臨、止於其身者、是即將以聖神授洗者也。」予既見之、爰證其為天主之聖子。』

即曰：『盍觀乎！予見諸天洞開矣！人子立於天主之右！』

天主所遣者、傳天主之訓、以天主賦以聖神、無有限量故、

教會體也、基督其首也。渠實無始之始、亦首先自死中復活者也。宜其於宇宙萬有中、基督位居乾元；天主無窮之蘊藏、欣然於基督乎是寓；
