“老師，摩西曾寫給我們說：‘如果一個人死了，留下妻子，沒有兒女，他的弟弟就應當娶他的妻子，為哥哥立後。’從前有兄弟七人，頭一個娶了妻子，死了，沒有留下孩子；第二個娶了她，也沒有留下孩子，就死了；第三個也是這樣。那七個人都沒有留下孩子，最後那女人也死了。到了復活的時候，他們都要復活，她是哪一個的妻子呢？因為七個人都娶過她。”

按著定命，人人都要死一次，死後還有審判。
