Then Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

雅各向拉结生气，说：“叫你不生育的是神，我岂能代替他作主呢？”

雅各对拉结生气，说：“是我代替上帝使你生不出孩子的吗？”

雅各气愤地说：“使你不能生育的是上帝，难道我能代替上帝吗？”

雅各就向拉结生气，说：“使你不能生育的是神，我能代替他吗？”

雅各的怒气就向瑞秋发作，说：“我难道能代替神吗？是他不让你腹中有胎儿。”

雅各向拉結生氣，說：「叫你不生育的是神，我豈能代替他作主呢？」

雅各的怒氣就向拉結發作，說：「我難道能代替神嗎？是他不讓你腹中有胎兒。」

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、上帝也、我豈代為上帝乎、

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、在上帝、豈在我乎。

雅各怒拉結曰、使爾不育者乃天主、我豈能代天主乎、

Jacob became angry with her and said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

Jacob became angry with her. He said,“ Do you think I’m God? He’s the one who has kept you from having children.”

Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Then Jacob became furious with Rachel.“ Am I God?” he asked.“ He’s the one who has kept you from having children!”

And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother,‘ You good for nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says,‘ You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

And He will love you, bless you, and make you numerous; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain, your new wine, and your oil, the newborn of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you.You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no sterile male or infertile female among you or among your cattle.

Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children; and the Lord answered him, and his wife Rebekah conceived.
