犹大行事诡诈，在以色列和耶路撒冷中行了可憎的事；因为犹大亵渎耶和华所喜爱的圣殿，娶外邦神明的女子为妻。凡做这事的，无论是清醒的或回应的，即使献供物给万军之耶和华，耶和华也要将他从雅各的帐棚中剪除。你们又再做这样的事，使哭泣和叹息的眼泪遮盖耶和华的祭坛，以致耶和华不再理会那供物，也不喜欢从你们的手中收纳。你们还说：“这是为什么呢？”因为耶和华在你和你年轻时所娶的妻之间作证。她虽是你的配偶，你誓约的妻，你却背弃她。一个人如果还剩下一点灵性，他不会这么做。这人在寻找什么呢？上帝的后裔！当谨守你们的灵性，谁也不可背弃年轻时所娶的妻。

你们如今若以诚实正直对待耶路巴力和他的家，就可以因亚比米勒欢乐，他也可以因你们欢乐；

以扫就看出他父亲以撒看迦南女子不顺眼。

若你在被掳的人中看见美丽的女子，喜欢她，要娶她为妻，就可以带她到你家去。她要剪头发，修指甲，脱去被掳时所穿的衣服，住在你家里为自己父母哀哭一个月。然后，你就可以与她同房；你作她的丈夫，她作你的妻子。以后你若不喜欢她，就要让她自由离开，绝不可为钱把她卖了，也不可把她当奴隶看待，因为你已经占有过她。”

摩西说：“看哪，我要从你这里出去祈求耶和华，使成群的苍蝇明天离开法老、法老的臣仆和法老的百姓；法老却不可再欺骗，不让百姓去向耶和华献祭。”

谁与女子订了婚尚未迎娶，他可以回家去，免得他阵亡，别人去娶。’

他父母对他说：“在你弟兄的女儿中，或在本族所有的人中，难道没有女子吗？你何必在未受割礼的非利士人中去娶妻呢？”参孙对他父亲说：“请你给我娶那女子，因为我喜欢她。”
