Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns.

Don’t take advantage of any hired worker who is poor and needy. That applies to your own people. It also applies to outsiders living in one of your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns.

“ Never take advantage of poor and destitute laborers, whether they are fellow Israelites or foreigners living in your towns.

“ Do not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether one of your Israelite brothers or one of the resident aliens in a town in your land.

“ You shall not exploit a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your strangers who are in your land in your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether one of your brethren or one of the aliens who is in your land within your gates.

Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy sojourners that are in thy land within thy gates:

You must not oppress a lowly and poor servant, whether one from among your fellow Israelites or from the resident foreigners who are living in your land and villages.

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快指证那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、在工钱上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居的和不敬畏我的。”

欺压贫寒的，就是辱骂造他的主；恩待穷苦人的，就是尊敬造他的主。

欺压穷人为要增加自己财富的，送礼给财主的，必致穷乏。

撒玛利亚山上的巴珊母牛啊！要听这话；你们欺负贫穷人，压迫穷苦人，又对自己的丈夫说：“拿酒来，给我们饮用。”

他们践踏穷人的头，好像践踏地面的尘土；他们把困苦人应有的权益夺去；儿子和父亲与同一个女子亲近，故意亵渎我的圣名。

我的仆婢与我争论的时候，我若轻视他们的案件，神若起来，我怎么办呢？他若鉴察，我怎样回答呢？那造我在母腹中的，不也造他吗？造我们在母胎里的，不是同一位吗？

因此穷人赤身露体流浪，他们因饥饿就抬走禾捆；他们在那些人的橄榄树行列（“那些人的橄榄树行列”直译是“他们的行列”）内榨油，又在葡萄园里踹酒（“又在葡萄园里踹酒”直译是“又踹酒池”），但自己仍然口渴。

“如果你的兄弟贫穷，在你那里手头拮据，你要资助他，使他可以与你一同生活，像旅客寄居的一样。你不可向他收取高利，却要敬畏你的神，使你的兄弟可以与你一同生活。你借钱给他，不可向他取利息；借粮给他，也不可要他多还。我是耶和华你们的神，曾经把你们从埃及地领出来，要把迦南地赐给你们，而且要作你们的神。“你的兄弟在你那里若是贫穷了，卖身给你，你不可逼他作奴仆的工作。他在你那里要像雇工和寄居的一样；他要服事你直到禧年。到了禧年，他和他的儿女要离开你，归回他本家，归回自己祖宗的地业。因为他们是我的仆人，是我从埃及地领出来的，他们不可以卖作奴仆。你不可严严地辖制他，却要敬畏你的神。

“你的兄弟，无论是希伯来男人，或是希伯来女人，如果卖身给你，要服事你六年；到第七年，就要让他离开你得自由。你使他自由离开的时候，不可让他空手而去；要从你的羊群、禾场、榨酒池中，多多地供给他；耶和华你的神怎样赐福给你，你也要怎样分给他。你要记得你在埃及地作过奴仆，耶和华你的神救赎了你；因此我今日吩咐你这件事。如果他对你说：‘我不愿离开你。’他说这话是因为他爱你和你的家，又因为他喜欢和你相处，那么，你就要拿锥子，把他的耳朵在门上刺透，他就永远作你的奴仆；对待你的婢女，你也要这样行。你使他自由离开你的时候，不要为难，因为他服事了你六年，应得雇工双倍的工资；这样，耶和华你的神必在你所作的一切事上，赐福给你。

在你里面轻视父母的；在你中间有压迫寄居的和欺负孤儿寡妇的。

践踏穷乏人又除掉国中困苦人的，你们要听这话。

你们要住在那家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为作工的理当得工资；不必从这家搬到那家。
