    Psalm 107
    Thanksgiving for God’s Deliverance
    1Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his faithful love endures forever.107:1 1Ch 16:34; Ps 100:5; 106:1
    2Let the redeemed of the Lord proclaim
    that he has redeemed them from the power of the foe107:2 Ps 78:42; 106:10
    3and has gathered them from the lands —
    from the east and the west,
    from the north and the south.107:3 Is 11:12; 43:5; Ezk 20:34

    4Some wandered in the desolate wilderness,
    finding no way to a city where they could live.107:4 Nm 14:33; 32:13
    5They were hungry and thirsty;
    their spirits failed107:5 Lit their soul fainted within them.107:5 Ps 77:3
    6Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble;
    he rescued them from their distress.107:6 Ps 106:44
    7He led them by the right path

    9For he has satisfied the thirsty

    36He causes the hungry to settle there,

    39When they are diminished and are humbled
