  • Jeremiah 52:17 - The Babylonians broke the two bronze pillars in the temple of the Lord, as well as the movable stands and the large bronze basin called the “The Sea.” They took all the bronze to Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 52:18 - They also took the pots, shovels, trimming shears, basins, pans, and all the bronze utensils used by the priests.
  • Jeremiah 52:19 - The captain of the royal guard took the gold and silver bowls, censers, basins, pots, lampstands, pans, and vessels.
  • Jeremiah 52:20 - The bronze of the items that King Solomon made for the Lord’s temple (including the two pillars, the large bronze basin called “The Sea,” the twelve bronze bulls under “The Sea,” and the movable stands ) was too heavy to be weighed.

  • Jeremiah 26:18 - “Micah from Moresheth prophesied during the time Hezekiah was king of Judah. He told all the people of Judah, ‘The Lord who rules over all says, “Zion will become a plowed field. Jerusalem will become a pile of rubble. The temple mount will become a mere wooded ridge.”’
  • 2 Kings 24:13 - Nebuchadnezzar took from there all the riches in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple and of the royal palace. He removed all the gold items which King Solomon of Israel had made for the Lord’s temple, just as the Lord had warned.
  • Jeremiah 15:13 - I will give away your wealth and your treasures as plunder. I will give it away free of charge for the sins you have committed throughout your land.
