Esther 9:27 - les Juifs instituèrent la tradition pour eux, pour leurs descendants et pour ceux qui se joindraient à eux, selon laquelle on ne devait pas omettre de célébrer chaque année ces deux jours à la date fixée et de la manière prescrite par Mardochée.
Deutéronome 2:25 - Aujourd’hui je vais commencer à faire de vous la terreur de tous les peuples qui habitent sous le ciel, ils vous craindront tellement qu’au seul bruit de votre approche, ils se mettront à trembler et seront pris de panique en face de vous. »
Zacharie 8:20 - Voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées célestes : Des gens des autres peuples et les habitants de villes nombreuses vont encore venir.
Zacharie 8:21 - Les habitants d’une ville iront dans une autre et s’inviteront en disant : « Allons, mettons-nous en route pour implorer l’Eternel, le Seigneur des armées célestes, et pour rechercher sa présence ! Moi aussi, j’y vais ! » Et on leur répondra : « Oui, moi aussi, je veux y aller ! »
Zacharie 8:22 - Ainsi des gens de peuples nombreux et de nations puissantes viendront rechercher la présence du Seigneur des armées célestes, à Jérusalem, et l’implorer.
Zacharie 8:23 - Voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées célestes : En ce temps-là, dix hommes de tous les peuples parlant différentes langues s’accrocheront à un Juif par le pan de son vêtement en déclarant : « Nous voudrions aller avec vous, car nous avons appris que Dieu est avec vous. »
Esther 9:22 - puisqu’en ces jours, les Juifs s’étaient assuré la tranquillité vis-à-vis de leurs ennemis et qu’en ce mois, leur affliction avait été changée en joie et leur deuil en fête. Il les invitait à commémorer ces jours-là par des festins et des réjouissances, et par des échanges mutuels de cadeaux et des dons aux pauvres.
Exode 15:16 - L’angoisse et la panique s’abattent sur eux tous. Ton action extraordinaire les a tous pétrifiés, jusqu’à ce qu’ait passé ╵ton peuple, ô Eternel ! Jusqu’à ce qu’ait passé ╵ce peuple que tu t’es acquis.
Genèse 35:5 - Puis ils levèrent le camp. Dieu frappa de panique les villes environnantes, de sorte que personne ne poursuivit les fils de Jacob.

Esther 9:19 - C’est ce qui explique pourquoi les Juifs disséminés dans les campagnes et ceux qui habitent des localités des campagnes font du quatorzième jour du mois d’Adar un jour de fête, de réjouissances et de festin, et s’envoient mutuellement des cadeaux ce jour-là.
