Deuteronômio 20:13 - Quando o Senhor, o seu Deus, entregá-la em suas mãos, matem ao fio da espada todos os homens que nela houver.
Deuteronômio 20:14 - Mas as mulheres, as crianças, os rebanhos e tudo o que acharem na cidade, será de vocês; vocês poderão ficar com os despojos dos seus inimigos dados pelo Senhor, o seu Deus.
Deuteronômio 20:15 - É assim que vocês tratarão todas as cidades distantes que não pertencem às nações vizinhas de vocês.
Deuteronômio 20:16 - “Contudo, nas cidades das nações que o Senhor, o seu Deus, dá a vocês por herança, não deixem vivo nenhum ser que respira.
2 Crônicas 28:8 - Os israelitas levaram para Samaria duzentos mil prisioneiros entre os seus parentes, incluindo mulheres, meninos e meninas. Também levaram muitos despojos.
2 Crônicas 28:9 - Mas um profeta do Senhor, chamado Odede, estava em Samaria e saiu ao encontro do exército. Ele lhes disse: “Estando irado contra Judá, o Senhor, o Deus dos seus antepassados, entregou-os nas mãos de vocês. Mas a fúria com que vocês os mataram chegou aos céus.
2 Crônicas 28:10 - E agora ainda pretendem escravizar homens e mulheres de Judá e de Jerusalém! Vocês também não são culpados de pecados contra o Senhor, o seu Deus?
2 Crônicas 28:11 - Agora, ouçam-me! Mandem de volta seus irmãos que vocês fizeram prisioneiros, pois o fogo da ira do Senhor está sobre vocês”.
2 Crônicas 28:12 - Então Azarias, filho de Joanã, Berequias, filho de Mesilemote, Jeizquias, filho de Salum, e Amasa, filho de Hadlai, que eram alguns dos chefes de Efraim, questionaram os que estavam chegando da guerra, dizendo:
2 Crônicas 28:13 - “Não tragam os prisioneiros para cá. Caso contrário seremos culpados diante do Senhor. Vocês querem aumentar ainda mais o nosso pecado e a nossa culpa? A nossa culpa já é grande, e o fogo da sua ira está sobre Israel”.
2 Crônicas 28:14 - Então os soldados libertaram os prisioneiros e colocaram os despojos na presença dos líderes e de toda a assembleia.
2 Crônicas 28:15 - Aqueles homens citados nominalmente apanharam os prisioneiros e com as roupas e as sandálias dos despojos vestiram todos os que estavam nus. Deram-lhes comida, bebida e bálsamo medicinal. Puseram sobre jumentos todos aqueles que estavam fracos. Assim os levaram de volta a seus patrícios residentes em Jericó, a cidade das Palmeiras, e voltaram para Samaria.
Romanos 12:20 - Ao contrário: “Se o seu inimigo tiver fome, dê-lhe de comer; se tiver sede, dê-lhe de beber. Fazendo isso, você amontoará brasas vivas sobre a cabeça dele” .
Romanos 12:21 - Não se deixem vencer pelo mal, mas vençam o mal com o bem.
Mateus 5:44 - Mas eu digo: Amem os seus inimigos e orem por aqueles que os perseguem,
