Then she said,“ I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants.”

路得说：“我主啊，愿在你眼前蒙恩。我虽然不及你的一个使女，你还用慈爱的话安慰我的心。”

路得说：“我主啊，愿我在你眼前蒙恩。我虽然不及你的一个婢女，你还安慰我，对你的婢女说关心的话。”

路得说：“我主啊，愿我在你眼前蒙恩。我虽然不及你的一个婢女，你还安慰我，对你的婢女说关心的话。”

路得说：“我主啊！我真是在你面前蒙恩，虽然我连你的婢女都不如，你还好言安慰我。”

路得说：“主人啊，但愿我在你眼前蒙恩，虽然我连你的婢女都不是，你还是安慰我，对我这么好。”

路得说：“我主啊，愿我在你眼前蒙恩！我虽然不及你的一个婢女，你还安慰我，对你的婢女说安心话。”

路得說：「我主啊，願在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個使女，你還用慈愛的話安慰我的心。」

路得說：「我主啊，願我在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個婢女，你還安慰我，對你的婢女說關心的話。」

路得說：「我主啊，願我在你眼前蒙恩。我雖然不及你的一個婢女，你還安慰我，對你的婢女說關心的話。」

路得說：「我主啊！我真是在你面前蒙恩，雖然我連你的婢女都不如，你還好言安慰我。」

路得說：“主人啊，但願我在你眼前蒙恩，雖然我連你的婢女都不是，你還是安慰我，對我這麼好。”

路得說：『我主啊，但願蒙你賞臉；我雖不及你的一個婢女，你還安慰我，還和你婢女談心。』

路得說：「我主啊，願我在你眼前蒙恩！我雖然不及你的一個婢女，你還安慰我，對你的婢女說安心話。」

曰、我主歟、願蒙爾恩、我雖不如爾使女之一、爾乃慰藉爾婢、語以愜心之言、

曰、願蒙主恩、我雖不如爾眾婢、爾嘗以善言慰藉。

路得曰、我雖不及我主之一婢、我主慰藉我、使我心安、實蒙我主之恩矣、或作願蒙我主之恩我雖不及爾之一婢爾慰藉我使我心安

“ May I continue to find favor in your eyes, my lord,” she said.“ You have put me at ease by speaking kindly to your servant— though I do not have the standing of one of your servants.”

“ Sir, I hope you will continue to be kind to me,” Ruth said.“ You have made me feel safe. You have spoken kindly to me. And I’m not even as important as one of your servants!”

“ I hope I continue to please you, sir,” she replied.“ You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers.”

“ My lord,” she said,“ I have found favor with you, for you have comforted and encouraged your servant, although I am not like one of your female servants.”

Then she said,“ I have found favor in your sight, my lord, for you have comforted me and indeed have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not like one of your female servants.”

Then she said,“ Let me find favor in your sight, my Lord; for you have comforted me, and have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants.”

Then she said, Let me find favor in thy sight, my lord, for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken kindly unto thy handmaid, though I be not as one of thy handmaidens.

“ My lord,” she said,“ you have been so kind to me, for you have comforted and encouraged your slave, although I am not like one of your female servants.”

Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

She said,“ You really are being kind to me, sir, for you have reassured and encouraged me, your servant, even though I am not one of your servants!”

Then she said,“ Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, because you have comforted me, and because you have spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not as one of your servants.”

And she said,“ Let your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.

So Esau said,“ Let me leave with you some of the people who are with me.” But he said,“ What need is there? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.”

Jacob said,“ No, please, if I have found favor in your sight, then accept my present from my hand. For I have seen your face, which is like seeing the face of God, and you have accepted me.

Then her husband arose and went after her, to speak kindly to her and bring her back. He had with him his servant and a couple of donkeys. And she brought him into her father’s house. And when the girl’s father saw him, he came with joy to meet him.

May God Almighty grant you mercy before the man, and may he send back your other brother and Benjamin. And as for me, if I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.”

And she rose and bowed with her face to the ground and said,“ Behold, your handmaid is a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.”

And his soul was drawn to Dinah the daughter of Jacob. He loved the young woman and spoke tenderly to her.

Esau said,“ What do you mean by all this company that I met?” Jacob answered,“ To find favor in the sight of my lord.”

The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.

Then the king said to Ziba,“ Behold, all that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours.” And Ziba said,“ I pay homage; let me ever find favor in your sight, my lord the king.”
