Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

兄弟乎、我求爾凡啟分爭、置機檻、異乎爾所學之道者、宜慎而避之、

我勸兄弟、慎諸背教、釁隙陷人於罪者、宜避之、

兄弟乎、爾中有人起釁隙、置妨礙、以反爾所學之道、我勸爾慎視慎視或作謹防之、且避之、

務懇我兄弟謹防一般離間人心、引人陷罪、背叛爾向所受之教義者；望避之若浼也。

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

I am warning you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who try to keep you from staying together. They want to trip you up. They teach you things opposite to what you have learned. Stay away from them.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.

And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned. Avoid them,

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words,[ even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.Yet count[ him] not as an enemy, but admonish[ him] as a brother.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas[ there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.As we said before, so say I now again, If any[ man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and[ that] there be no divisions among you; but[ that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them[ which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell[ it] unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying,[ Ye must] be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no[ such] commandment:

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren,[ and said], Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and[ of] the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command[ them] to keep the law of Moses.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would[ no doubt] have continued with us: but[ they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe[ unto him], through whom they come!
