我又觀看，羔羊打開七個封印中第一個封印的時候，我就聽見四個活物中的一個，用像雷鳴一樣的聲音說：「來！」

接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那一位右手中拿著一個書卷，內外都寫著字，用七個封印封住。

接著，我聽見好像一大群人的聲音，也像眾水的聲音，又像大雷鳴的聲音，說：「哈利路亞！因為我們的主、神、全能者做王了！

羔羊打開第四個封印的時候，我聽見第四個活物的聲音，說：「來！」

從寶座中發出閃電、聲音和雷鳴；在寶座前，有七支燃燒著的火把，就是神的七個靈；寶座前面，好像玻璃海，彷彿水晶；在寶座中間和寶座周圍，有四個活物，遍體前後布滿眼睛。第一個活物彷彿獅子，第二個活物彷彿牛犢，第三個活物有像人一樣的臉，第四個活物彷彿飛翔的鷹。

羔羊打開第三個封印的時候，我聽見第三個活物說：「來！」我又觀看，看哪，有一匹黑色的馬。那騎馬的，手裡拿著天平。

可是長老中有一位對我說：「不要哭了！看哪，那出於猶大支派的獅子、大衛的根已經得勝，可以打開那書卷和它的七個封印。」隨後，我看見在寶座和四個活物當中，在長老們當中，站著一隻羔羊，好像是被殺過的。羔羊有七隻角和七隻眼，那七隻眼就是神的七個靈，是奉差派往全地去的。羔羊上前去，從坐在寶座上那一位的右手中拿了書卷。

隨後，神在天上的聖所開了，他的約櫃在他聖所中顯現。接著有閃電、聲音、雷鳴、地震和大冰雹。

要知道，我們所看見所聽見的，我們不能不說。」

接著，我聽見有聲音從天上傳來，好像眾水的聲音，也像大雷鳴的聲音。我所聽見的這聲音，又像琴師們彈奏豎琴的聲音。

羔羊打開第二個封印的時候，我聽見第二個活物說：「來！」

大聲呼喊，好像獅子吼叫。他一呼喊，那七個雷就發出自己的聲音。當那七個雷發出了自己的聲音，我正要寫下來，卻聽見有聲音從天上傳來，說：「你要封住七個雷所說的話，不可寫下來。」
