又有能力赐给它，可以把气息给兽像，使兽像能够说话，并且能够杀害那些不拜兽像的人。那从地里上来的兽，又要所有的人，无论大小贫富，自由的和作奴隶的，都在右手或额上，给自己作个记号。这记号就是兽的名字或兽名的数字，除了那有记号的，谁也不能买，谁也不能卖。在这里要有智慧。有悟性的人，就让他计算兽的数字，因为这是人的数字，它的数字是六百六十六。

他们又因为所受的痛苦和所生的疮，亵渎天上的神，并不为自己所作的悔改。

耶和华对摩西和亚伦说：“你们要两手拿满炉灰，摩西要在法老眼前把炉灰向天上扬起来。这炉灰必在埃及全地变为微尘，在埃及全地的人和牲畜身上就必生出疹病和脓疮。”摩西和亚伦取了炉灰，站在法老面前；摩西把炉灰向天上扬起来，人和牲畜身上就生出了疹病和脓疮。众术士因为生了疮的缘故，不能站在摩西的面前；因为众术士和所有埃及人身上都生了疮。

耶和华必使一切病症离开你；你所知埃及各种的恶疾，他决不加在你身上，却加在一切恨你的人身上。

你们为什么屡次悖逆，还要受责打吗？你们整个头都受了伤，整个心都发昏了。从脚掌到头顶，没有一处是完全的；尽是创伤、鞭痕和流血的伤口；没有挤干净伤口，没有包扎，也没有用膏油滋润。

因此，主必使锡安的女子头顶长出秃疮；耶和华又使她们露出前额。”

耶和华的手重重地压在亚实突人身上，败坏他们，用痔疮击打亚实突和亚实突四境的人。

他不归荣耀给神，所以主的使者立刻击打他，他被虫咬，就断了气。

“耶和华必用埃及人的疮、痔漏、牛皮癣、红疹打击你，这是你不能医治的。

又有一个乞丐，名叫拉撒路，满身是疮，被人放在财主门口，想得财主桌子上掉下来的零碎充饥；并且有狗来舔他的疮。后来乞丐死了，被天使送到亚伯拉罕的怀里。那财主也死了，并且埋葬了。

运到那里以后，耶和华的手攻击那城，引起很大的恐慌。他击打全城的人，不分老幼，使痔疮在他们中间蔓延。

这些事以后，耶和华击打约兰，使他的肠脏患了不治之症。

至于你，你的肠脏必患严重的病，直到因病情日益严重，你的肠子都流出来了。’”

于是撒但从耶和华面前退去，击打约伯，使他从脚掌到头顶都生了毒疮。约伯坐在灰烬中，拿瓦片刮自己。

必有腐臭代替馨香，绳子代替腰带，光秃代替美发，麻衣系腰代替美服，烙痕代替美貌。

他从天空刮起东风，施能力领出南风。

于是那坐在云上的向地上挥动镰刀，地上的庄稼就被收割了。
