二證聞大音自天呼之曰：「升此！」即飄然乘雲升天、諸敵皆目擊。

此事甫畢、予舉目仰觀、忽見天門洞開，曩者所聞彷彿吹角之音者、至是復語予曰：「升此、將示爾以未來之事。」

諭畢、即當眾目環視之際、攝引昇天、朵雲接之、杳然不能復瞻。

於是同道中之尚在人間者、乃將與彼等一齊被攝入雲、迎主於天際而永與相偕矣。

緣基督之偉功、拔吾人於罪中、起吾人於已死、俾吾人得與基督同享生命；且天主實已賜吾人托基督而復活、托基督而位於諸天之上矣。

偶舉目遙見亞伯漢、與其懷中之辣柴魯、

婦舉一男、來日持鐵杖以牧萬邦者、即是此子。甫生、即見攝升至天主寶座前。

誰堪留帝所。誰堪居靈山。

凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、吾必賜其與吾同坐於吾位之上、亦如吾之終克致勝而獲與吾父同坐於厥位之上也。

示以愛徵。用昭大德。賜以神助。加以慰藉。敵人見之。庶幾惶惕。

不肖覩之。怒目切齒。切齒何為。胡不遄死。身敗名裂。何苦出此。

耶穌基督已死而復活、且恆侍於天主之側、而為吾人代求矣。孰能間吾人於基督之愛乎？將貧賤憂戚、飢寒困窮乎？抑災患艱危、白刃窘迫乎？詩云：『正惟為主故、吾人日見殺；一如屠家羊默默待宰割。』雖然、賴愛我者之大力、吾人已戰勝一切災害、且綽綽乎有餘裕矣。

陟彼靈山。登彼聖域。誰堪當此。
