即吾同胞之兄弟兮。亦因是而視予為陌路。

for zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.

My great love for your house destroys me. Those who make fun of you make fun of me also.

For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers doing business.When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.And He said to those who sold doves,“ Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!”Then His disciples remembered that it was written,“ Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”

My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words.

So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple.Then He taught, saying to them,“ Is it not written,‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a‘ den of thieves.’”

Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

Remember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants— How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples,With which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

All who pass by the way plunder him; He is a reproach to his neighbors.

So he said,“ I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”
