耶和华如此说：“若有人能测量上面的天，探索下面地的根基，我才会因以色列后裔所做的一切弃绝他们。这是耶和华说的。”

却要以公义审判贫寒人，以正直判断地上的困苦人，以口中的棍击打全地，以嘴里的气杀戮恶人。

你曾分裂泉源和溪流；使长流的江河枯干。

看哪，耶和华的名从远方来，他的怒气烧起，浓烟上腾。他的嘴唇满有愤恨，他的舌头像吞灭的火。他的气息如涨溢的河水，直涨到颈项，要用毁灭的筛网筛净列国，并在众民口中安放导错方向的嚼环。

原来陀斐特早已预备好了，是为君王预备的；又深又宽，堆满了火和木柴；耶和华的气息犹如一股硫磺使它燃起。

神一嘘气，他们就灭亡；神一发怒，他们就消失。

看哪，我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地，在那里我必使他倒在刀下。’”

山岭啊，要听耶和华的指控！大地永久的根基啊，要听！因耶和华控告他的百姓，与以色列争辩。

雅各的神啊，你的斥责一发，战车和战马都沉睡了。

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里？你若明白事理，只管说吧！你知道是谁定地的尺度，是谁把准绳拉在其上吗？地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？

我下沉到山的根基，地的门闩将我永远关住。耶和华—我的神啊，你却将我的性命从地府里救出来。
