主必不將我靈魂遺棄於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主必不使敬主虔誠人朽壞、

所望保吾魂。莫使淪幽冥。更望聖者身。免染朽腐痕。

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.Men[ and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Wherefore he saith also in another[ psalm], Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.Be it known unto you therefore, men[ and] brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

I[ am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet[ thee] at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee,[ even] all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

[ It is] as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

So also[ is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.

If I ascend up into heaven, thou[ art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou[ art there].

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:

All the days that he separateth[ himself] unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I[ am] the LORD.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal[ must] put on immortality.So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.O death, where[ is] thy sting? O grave, where[ is] thy victory?

Hell and destruction[ are] before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Saying, Let[ us] alone; what have we to do with thee,[ thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

The wicked shall be turned into hell,[ and] all the nations that forget God.
