主必不將我靈魂遺棄於示阿勒、示阿勒見六篇五節小註主必不使敬主虔誠人朽壞、

所望保吾魂。莫使淪幽冥。更望聖者身。免染朽腐痕。

because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.

You will not leave me in the place of the dead. You will not let your faithful one rot away.

For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave.

because You will not leave me in Hades or allow Your Holy One to see decay.You have revealed the paths of life to me; You will fill me with gladness in Your presence.“ Brothers, I can confidently speak to you about the patriarch David: He is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn an oath to him to seat one of his descendants on his throne.Seeing this in advance, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah: He was not left in Hades, and His flesh did not experience decay.

Therefore He also says in another passage, You will not allow Your Holy One to see decay.For David, after serving his own generation in God’s plan, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and decayed.But the One God raised up did not decay.Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you,

But God will redeem my life from the power of Sheol, for He will take me. Selah

and the Living One. I was dead, but look— I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Sheol below is eager to greet your coming. He stirs up the spirits of the departed for you— all the rulers of the earth. He makes all the kings of the nations rise from their thrones.

Then the sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works.

And being in torment in Hades, he looked up and saw Abraham a long way off, with Lazarus at his side.

They are higher than the heavens— what can you do? They are deeper than Sheol— what can you know?

Therefore Sheol enlarges its throat and opens wide its enormous jaws, and down go Zion’s dignitaries, her masses, her crowds, and those who carouse in her!

The angel replied to her:“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.

So it is with the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption;

For fire has been kindled because of My anger and burns to the depths of Sheol; it devours the land and its produce, and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, and people’s eyes are never satisfied.

If I go up to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.

Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city— to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.

If they dig down to Sheol, from there My hand will take them; if they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down.

He must not go near a dead body during the time he consecrates himself to the Lord.

You are not to make gashes on your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves; I am Yahweh.

Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality.When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory.Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?

Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the Lord— how much more, human hearts.

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked to have a murderer given to you.You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.

“ Leave us alone! What do You have to do with us, Jesus— Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are— the Holy One of God!”

The wicked will return to Sheol— all the nations that forget God.
