You should not gloat over your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

現在有許多國的民聚集攻擊你，說：願錫安被玷污！願我們親眼見她遭報！

你怎樣因以色列家的地業荒涼而喜樂，我必照你所行的待你。西珥山哪，你和以東全地必都荒涼。你們就知道我是耶和華。」

戲笑窮人的，是辱沒造他的主；幸災樂禍的，必不免受罰。

人不要誇口說驕傲的話，也不要出狂妄的言語；因耶和華是大有智識的神，人的行為被他衡量。

我的骨頭，我都能數過；他們瞪着眼看我。

那撒謊的人逞驕傲輕慢，出狂妄的話攻擊義人；願他的嘴啞而無言。

我眼睛看見仇敵遭報；我耳朵聽見那些起來攻擊我的惡人受罰。

我的神要以慈愛迎接我；神要叫我看見我仇敵遭報。

「你這拆毀聖殿、三日又建造起來的，可以救自己吧！你如果是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」祭司長和文士並長老也是這樣戲弄他，說：「他救了別人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，現在可以從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他倚靠神，神若喜悅他，現在可以救他；因為他曾說：『我是神的兒子。』」

耶穌快到耶路撒冷，看見城，就為它哀哭，

你仇敵跌倒，你不要歡喜；他傾倒，你心不要快樂；恐怕耶和華看見就不喜悅，將怒氣從仇敵身上轉過來。

我的仇敵啊，不要向我誇耀。我雖跌倒，卻要起來；我雖坐在黑暗裏，耶和華卻作我的光。我要忍受耶和華的惱怒；因我得罪了他，直等他為我辨屈，為我伸冤。他必領我到光明中；我必得見他的公義。那時我的仇敵，就是曾對我說「耶和華－你神在哪裏」的，他一看見這事就被羞愧遮蓋。我必親眼見他遭報；他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

你藉你的臣僕辱罵主說：我率領許多戰車上山頂，到黎巴嫩極深之處；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏樹和佳美的松樹。我必上極高之處，進入肥田的樹林。

主耶和華如此說：「因你拍手頓足，以滿心的恨惡向以色列地歡喜，所以我伸手攻擊你，將你交給列國作為擄物。我必從萬民中剪除你，使你從萬國中敗亡。我必除滅你，你就知道我是耶和華。」

住烏斯地的以東民哪，只管歡喜快樂；苦杯也必傳到你那裏；你必喝醉，以致露體。

這樣，舌頭在百體裏也是最小的，卻能說大話。看哪，最小的火能點着最大的樹林。

這些人是私下議論，常發怨言的，隨從自己的情慾而行，口中說誇大的話，為得便宜諂媚人。

又賜給牠說誇大褻瀆話的口，又有權柄賜給牠，可以任意而行四十二個月。

主要笑他，因見他受罰的日子將要來到。

我若見恨我的遭報就歡喜，見他遭災便高興；（

他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛才脫離妄行的人。

他從一切的急難中把我救出來；我的眼睛也看見了我仇敵遭報。
