永恆主的使者對他說：『你為甚麼這三次擊打了你的驢呢？看哪，是我出來敵擋你的，因為你對着我逆行了路。

耶和华的使者对他说：“你为何这三次打你的驴呢？我出来敌挡你，因你所行的，在我面前偏僻。

耶和华的使者对他说：“你为什么这三次打你的驴呢？看哪，我出来敌对你，因为这路在我面前已经偏离了。

耶和华的天使对他说：“你为何三次打你的驴？我特意来阻挡你，因为你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

耶和華的使者對他說：「你為何這三次打你的驢呢？我出來敵擋你，因你所行的，在我面前偏僻。

耶和華的天使對他說：「你為何三次打你的驢？我特意來阻擋你，因為你走的路在我眼中是邪路。

使者曰、三策爾驢何也、爾所行者逆我、故我出以禦爾、

使者曰、三策爾驢何也、爾所行者違逆於我、故我出以禦爾。

主之使者謂之曰、爾三次策驢、何也、爾行此道逆我、故我出以阻爾、

The angel of the Lord asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me.

The angel of the Lord spoke to him. He asked him,“ Why have you hit your donkey three times? I have come here to oppose you. What you are doing is foolish.

And the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose you because your way is perverse before me.

“ Why did you beat your donkey those three times?” the angel of the Lord demanded.“ Look, I have come to block your way because you are stubbornly resisting me.

The angel of the LORD asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you, because I consider what you are doing to be evil.

Then the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was reckless and contrary to me.

And the Angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me.

And the angel of Jehovah said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I am come forth for an adversary, because thy way is perverse before me:

The Angel of the Lord asked him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you, because what you are doing is evil in My sight.

And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because[ thy] way is perverse before me:

The angel of the LORD said to him,“ Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? Look, I came out to oppose you because what you are doing is perverse before me.

Yahweh’s angel said to him,“ Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way is perverse before me.

因了他去、上帝就發怒；永恆主的使者站在路上敵擋他。他騎着驢，有他的兩個僮僕和他同行。

有充滿着淫婦和不止息的罪的眼睛，餌誘着心不堅固的人，持着那習於貪婪的心。嘿，被咒詛的兒女！他們既離棄了正直的路，就走迷了，一味隨從比珥的兒子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工錢的，

他賜食物給走獸，給啼叫的小烏鴉。

依純全而行的必蒙拯救安全；所行乖僻的必然跌倒。

何況尼尼微這大城，其中不曉得分辨左手右手的有十二萬多人，並有許多牲口，我哪能不顧惜呢？』

永恆主開了驢的口，驢就對巴蘭說：『我到底作了甚麼觸犯着你，你竟擊打了我這三次呢？』

『牛踹穀時、你不可籠住牠的嘴。

你的義氣好像高山；你的公道如同大深淵；永恆主啊，人和牲口你都救護。

按正直行的、敬畏永恆主；行徑乖僻的、卻藐視他。

因為你們出了埃及、在路上的時候、他們沒有拿食物和水來迎接你們，又因為他們雇了米所波大米的毘奪人比珥的兒子巴蘭、來和你作對，來咒詛你。

永恆主的使者對巴蘭說：『你同這些人去吧；不過我所吩咐你說的話、你只要那樣說就好啦。』於是巴蘭和巴勒的首領一同去。

當天夜裏、上帝來找巴蘭、對他說：『這些人既然來請你，你就起來、和他們一同去吧；只是我所吩咐你行的事、你只要那樣行就好啦。』

永恆主的使者從刺叢中火燄裏向他顯現。摩西一看，只見刺叢在火中燒着，而刺叢竟沒有被燒燬！摩西說：『我要過去，看這大異象，為甚麼這刺叢沒有燒掉。』永恆主見摩西過來要看，上帝從刺叢中呼叫他說：『摩西，摩西』；摩西說：『我在這裏呢。』永恆主說：『不可走近這裏來；要把你腳上的鞋脫下，因為你所站的地方是聖地。』又說：『我是你父的上帝，亞伯拉罕的上帝、以撒的上帝、雅各的上帝。』摩西掩着面，因為怕望着上帝。

說：『哦，你這充滿一切詭詐、一切匪行、魔鬼的兒子、一切正義的仇敵啊，你使主正直的路偏差、還不停止麼？

窮乏人依純全而行、勝過行徑乖僻而富足。

永恆主善待萬物，他的憐憫覆庇着他一切所造的。

我的子民哪，你們要記得摩押王巴勒所計謀的，和比珥的兒子巴蘭所回答他的，以及你們從什亭到吉甲所遇見的，好使你們知道永恆主的義氣。』
