Then the Israelites set out from the Desert of Sinai and traveled from place to place until the cloud came to rest in the Desert of Paran.

他住在巴蘭的曠野；他母親從埃及地為他娶了一個妻子。

以後百姓從哈洗錄起行，來到巴蘭的曠野安營。

摩西就遵照耶和華的指示，從巴蘭曠野差派他們去；他們都是以色列人中的領袖。

正月十四日黃昏的時候，他們就在西奈的曠野守逾越節。凡耶和華所吩咐摩西的，以色列人都照樣做了。

以色列人出埃及地以後，第三個月的初一，就在那一天他們來到了西奈的曠野。他們從利非訂起程，來到西奈的曠野，在那裏的山下安營。

他們來到巴蘭曠野的加低斯，摩西、亞倫，以及以色列全會眾那裏，向他們和全會眾報告，又把那地的果子給他們看。

以下是摩西在約旦河東的曠野，疏弗對面的亞拉巴，就是在巴蘭、陀弗、拉班、哈洗錄、底撒哈之間，向以色列眾人所說的話。

以色列人出埃及地後第二年二月初一，耶和華在西奈曠野，在會幕中吩咐摩西說：

神從提幔而來，聖者從巴蘭山臨到；（細拉）他的榮光遮蔽諸天，頌讚遍滿全地。

從利非訂起行，安營在西奈的曠野。從西奈的曠野起行，安營在基博羅‧哈他瓦。

「我們照着耶和華－我們神所吩咐的，從何烈山起行，經過你們所看見那一切大而可怕的曠野，往亞摩利人的山區去，到了加低斯‧巴尼亞。

撒母耳死了，以色列眾人聚集，為他哀哭，把他葬在拉瑪他的家裏。大衛動身，下到巴蘭的曠野。

以色列人出埃及地以後，第二年正月，耶和華在西奈的曠野吩咐摩西說：

他說：「耶和華從西奈來，從西珥向他們顯現，從巴蘭山發出光輝；從萬萬聖者中來臨，從他右手向他們發出烈火的律法。

每逢雲彩從帳幕升上去，以色列人就起程前行；雲彩若不升上去，他們就不起程，直等到雲彩升上去。

他們從疏割起程，在曠野邊上的以倘安營。
