主見其心誠信於主前、與之立約、許以迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、革迦西人之地、賜其苗裔、主為至義、已踐前言、

You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.

You knew that his heart was faithful to you. And you made a covenant with him. You promised to give to his children after him a land of their own. It was the land of the Canaanites, Hittites and Amorites. The Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites also lived there. You have kept your promise. That’s because you always do what is right and fair.

You found his heart faithful before you, and made with him the covenant to give to his offspring the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite, and the Girgashite. And you have kept your promise, for you are righteous.

When he had proved himself faithful, you made a covenant with him to give him and his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites. And you have done what you promised, for you are always true to your word.

When you perceived that his heart was faithful toward you, you established a covenant with him to give his descendants the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, and the Girgashites. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.

亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此算为他的义。

就在那一天，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已经把这地赐给你的后裔，从埃及河直到幼发拉底大河，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫提人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

藉着这两件不能更改的事——在这些事上，神不可能说谎——使我们这些逃往避难所、抓住那摆在前面盼望的人，可以得到极大的鼓励。

我要与你以及你世世代代的后裔确立我的约，作为永远的约，我要成为你和你后裔的神。我必把你现在的寄居之地，就是迦南全地，赐给你和你的后裔作永远的产业；我也必作他们的神。”

耶和华向亚伯兰显现，说：“我必把这地赐给你的后裔。”亚伯兰就在那里为向他显现的耶和华筑了一座祭坛。

这是基于那永恒生命的盼望，而这盼望是那不撒谎的神在亘古以前所应许的。

我们的先祖亚伯拉罕把他的儿子以撒献在祭坛上，难道不是本于行为被称为义吗？你看，信仰和他的行为相辅相成，而且信仰是本于行为得以完全的。这就应验了经上所说的：“亚伯拉罕信神，这就被算为他的义。”他又被称为“神的朋友”。

他记念自己的约，直到永远；记念他吩咐的话，直到千代——就是他与亚伯拉罕所立的约，向以撒所起的誓；

后来神废除了扫罗，兴起大卫做他们的王，并且为他见证说：‘我找到了耶西的儿子大卫，一个合乎我心意的人，他将遵行我的一切旨意。’

我感谢使我刚强的那一位——我们的主基督耶稣，因为他认为我是忠心的，指派我做这服事的工作。虽然我原先是亵渎神的、逼迫人的、侮慢人的，但是我却蒙了怜悯，因为我是在不信、不明白的时候做的；

因着信，亚伯拉罕在受考验的时候，献上了以撒；这位领受了各样应许的人，献上了自己的独生儿子——

他们在年老时仍然结果实，他们丰美并且青翠，以此宣告耶和华是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他没有不义。

向我们的祖先施怜悯，不忘他神圣的约，就是向我们的先祖亚伯拉罕所起的誓，

耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你当离开你的本土、本族、父家，往我将要指示你的地去。我要使你成为一个大国，我要祝福你，使你的名为大；你也必成为别人的祝福！祝福你的，我要祝福他；诅咒你的，我要诅咒他。地上万族都必因你而蒙福。”

如果我们承认自己的罪孽，神是信实的、公义的，他就会赦免我们的罪孽，洁净我们脱离一切的不义。

说：“耶和华宣告：我指着自己起誓，你既然做了这事，没有留下你的儿子，就是你的独生子，我必定大大祝福你，使你的后裔大大增多，如同天上的星辰、海边的沙粒；你的后裔必占有仇敌的城门。地上万国都必因你的后裔而蒙福，因为你听从了我的话。”

使者说：“不可向这少年下手，什么也不可对他做！现在我知道你是敬畏神的，因为你没有把你的儿子，就是你的独生子，留下不给我。”

他使自己的子民欢乐地出来，使自己的选民欢呼而出。他把列国的地都赐给他们，让他们继承了万民的劳苦所得，
