For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you warned them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you gave them into the hands of the neighboring peoples.

For many years you put up with them. By your Spirit you warned them through your prophets. In spite of that, they didn’t pay any attention. So you handed them over to the nations that were around them.

Many years you bore with them and warned them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not give ear. Therefore you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.

In your love, you were patient with them for many years. You sent your Spirit, who warned them through the prophets. But still they wouldn’t listen! So once again you allowed the peoples of the land to conquer them.

“你们这硬着颈项，心与耳未受割礼的人哪，时常抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。

谁将雅各交出作为掳物，将以色列交给抢夺者呢？岂不是耶和华—我们所得罪的那位吗？他们不肯遵行他的道，也不听从他的训诲。

查考在他们心里的基督的灵预先证明基督受苦难，后来得荣耀，是指什么时候，什么样的情况。

因为预言从来没有出于人意的，而是人被圣灵感动说出上帝的话来。

还是你藐视他丰富的恩慈、宽容、忍耐，不知道他的恩慈是领你悔改吗？

现在我告诉你们，我要向我的葡萄园怎么做。我必撤去篱笆，使它被烧毁；拆毁围墙，使它被践踏。我必使它荒废，不再修剪，不再锄草，任荆棘蒺藜生长；我也必吩咐密云，不再降雨在其上。

万军之耶和华说：我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听！

耶和华成就了他所定的，应验了他古时所命定的。他倾覆，并不顾惜，他使仇敌向你夸耀，使你敌人的角高举。

他们竟然悖逆，使他的圣灵忧伤。他就转变，成为他们的仇敌，亲自攻击他们。

你警戒他们，要使他们归顺你的律法。他们却行事狂傲，不听从你的诫命，干犯你的典章，人若遵行就必因此存活。他们顽梗地扭转肩头，硬着颈项，不肯听从。

“‘然而，他们不顺从，竟背叛你，将你的律法丢在背后，又杀害那些劝他们回转归向你的众先知，犯了亵渎的大罪。

耶和华藉众先知、先见劝戒以色列和犹大说：“当离开你们的恶行，谨守我的诫命律例，遵行我吩咐你们祖先、藉我仆人众先知所传给你们的一切律法。”他们却不听从，竟硬着颈项，像他们祖先一样，不信服耶和华—他们的上帝。他们厌弃他的律例，和他与他们列祖所立的约，以及他劝戒他们的话，去随从虚无的神明，自己成为虚妄，效法周围的列国，就是耶和华嘱咐他们不可效法的。他们离弃耶和华—他们上帝的一切诫命，为自己铸造了两个牛犊的像，立了亚舍拉，敬拜天上的万象，事奉巴力，使他们的儿女经火，占卜，行法术，出卖自己，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒。所以耶和华向以色列大大发怒，从自己面前赶出他们，只剩下犹大一个支派。

耶和华—他们列祖的上帝因为爱惜自己的百姓和居所，一再差遣使者去警戒他们。他们却嘲笑上帝的使者，藐视他的话，讥诮他的先知，以致耶和华向他的百姓大发烈怒，甚至无法可救。

自从你们祖先出埃及地的那日，直到今日，我每日一再差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去。

护卫长提耶利米来，对他说：“耶和华—你的上帝曾说要降这灾祸给此地。耶和华照他所说的做了，已使这灾祸临到；因你们得罪耶和华，不听从他的话，所以这事临到你们。

主啊，你是有怜悯，有恩惠的上帝，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和信实。

他们间彼此不合，就分散了；未散以先，保罗说了一句话：“圣灵藉以赛亚先知向你们祖宗所说的话是对的。

耶和华也曾一再差遣他的仆人众先知到你们这里来，只是你们不听从，也不侧耳而听，

耶和华因你们所行的恶、所做可憎的事，不能再容忍，所以使你们的地荒凉，受惊骇诅咒，无人居住，正如今日一样。

他在旷野容忍他们，约有四十年。

你赐下你良善的灵教导他们，没有收回吗哪不给他们吃，仍赐水给他们解渴。

主没有迟延他的应许，就如有人以为他是迟延，其实他是宽容你们，不愿一人沉沦，而是人人都来悔改。
