願爾闢天而臨格、使山震動於爾前、猶火焚薪、使水騰沸、致敵知爾名、列邦戰慄於爾前、

於耶和華前、山嶽震撼、於以色列之上帝耶和華前、西乃動搖、

但今之天地、以是命而存以待火、留至鞫日、即惡人淪亡之日也、○愛友乎、勿忘斯事、在主一日猶千年、千年猶一日、主不延緩其所許、若有視為延緩者、乃寬忍爾曹、不欲一人沉淪、惟欲人皆改悔、然主日將至、如盜然、是日諸天訇然而逝、體質俱為烈火所化、地與其間之造作盡爇焉、諸物既將如是消滅、則爾之為人、當如何清潔虔敬哉、企慕上帝之日至、諸天因而焚毀、有體質者悉以烈火銷鎔之、

地大震、主之使自天而下、轉移其石而坐之、

我又見一座大而且白、及居其上者、地與天自其前而遁、不得其所、

其聲摧折香柏、耶和華毀利巴嫩之香柏兮、彼使山躍如犢、利巴嫩與西連、躍如野牛之犢兮、

蓋萬軍之耶和華、將有一日臨及驕矜者、狂傲者、自高者、降之為卑、亦臨及利巴嫩高大之香柏、巴珊之橡樹、暨諸崇山峻嶺、

海及充其中者、世與居其間者、悉揚厥聲兮、

殿幔自上至下裂為二、地震、磐裂、

耶和華於火中降臨西乃山、徧山有烟、其烟上騰、有若爐烟、全山大震、

山嶽歟、爾何為踴躍如牡羊、岡陵歟、爾何為踴躍如羔羊、
