耶穌對曰：『善夫意灑雅指爾輩虛偽者之預言也！其書云、「斯民敬我以唇舌、其心與我隔天淵、

He replied,“ Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:“‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He replied,“ Isaiah was right. He prophesied about you people who pretend to be good. He said,“‘ These people honor me by what they say. But their hearts are far away from me.

And he said to them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,“‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me;

Jesus replied,“ You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote,‘ These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

But He said to them,“ Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

He answered and said to them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.

He answered them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with[ their] lips, but their heart is far from me.

He answered them,“ Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

主說：因為這百姓親近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；他們敬畏我，不過是領受人的吩咐。

他們說是認識神，行事卻和他相背；本是可憎惡的，是悖逆的，在各樣善事上是可廢棄的。

他們來到你這裏如同民來聚會，坐在你面前彷彿是我的民。他們聽你的話卻不去行；因為他們的口多顯愛情，心卻追隨財利。

假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指着你們說的預言是不錯的。他說：這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；他們將人的吩咐當作道理教導人，所以拜我也是枉然。」

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們正當人前，把天國的門關了，自己不進去，正要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

我的弟兄們，若有人說自己有信心，卻沒有行為，有甚麼益處呢？這信心能救他嗎？若是弟兄或是姊妹，赤身露體，又缺了日用的飲食；你們中間有人對他們說：「平平安安地去吧！願你們穿得暖，吃得飽」，卻不給他們身體所需用的，這有甚麼益處呢？這樣，信心若沒有行為就是死的。

有敬虔的外貌，卻背了敬虔的實意；這等人你要躲開。

主對他說：「如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯盤的外面，你們裏面卻滿了勒索和邪惡。無知的人哪，造外面的，不也造裏面嗎？只要把裏面的施捨給人，凡物於你們就都潔淨了。「你們法利賽人有禍了！因為你們將薄荷、芸香並各樣菜蔬獻上十分之一，那公義和愛神的事反倒不行了。這原是你們當行的；那也是不可不行的。你們法利賽人有禍了！因為你們喜愛會堂裏的首位，又喜愛人在街市上問你們的安。你們有禍了！因為你們如同不顯露的墳墓，走在上面的人並不知道。」

但我知道，你們心裏沒有神的愛。

我若沒有在他們中間行過別人未曾行的事，他們就沒有罪；但如今連我與我的父，他們也看見也恨惡了。

你們是行你們父所行的事。」他們說：「我們不是從淫亂生的；我們只有一位父，就是神。」耶穌說：「倘若神是你們的父，你們就必愛我；因為我本是出於神，也是從神而來，並不是由着自己來，乃是他差我來。

耶穌回答說：「我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的神。你們未曾認識他；我卻認識他。我若說不認識他，我就是說謊的，像你們一樣；但我認識他，也遵守他的道。

他們彼此不合，就散了；未散以先，保羅說了一句話，說：「聖靈藉先知以賽亞向你們祖宗所說的話是不錯的。

他們必呼叫我說：我的神啊，我們以色列認識你了。以色列丟棄良善；仇敵必追逼他。
