Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ My name is Legion, for we are many.”

遂問之曰、爾何名、對曰、軍、我儕多故也、

問其名、對曰：『吾名繁有徒、以吾黨極眾故耳。』

Then Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?”“ My name is Legion,” he replied,“ for we are many.”

Jesus then asked him,“ What is your name?” He said,“ Legion,” because many demons had entered him.

Or do you think that I cannot call on my Father, and that he would send me more than twelve legions of angels right now?

They came to Jesus and saw the demon- possessed man sitting there, clothed and in his right mind– the one who had the“ Legion”– and they were afraid.

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his possessions are safe.But when a stronger man attacks and conquers him, he takes away the first man’s armor on which the man relied and divides up his plunder.Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a person, it passes through waterless places looking for rest but not finding any. Then it says,‘ I will return to the home I left.’When it returns, it finds the house swept clean and put in order.Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there, so the last state of that person is worse than the first.”
