祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

我也見了主耶穌的弟弟雅各，此外沒有見過其他使徒。

非斯都為了討好猶太人，就對保羅說：「你是否願意回耶路撒冷接受我的審訊？」

懼怕人的必自陷網羅，信靠耶和華的必安穩。

於是，彼拉多依照他們的要求，釋放了叛亂殺人的囚犯巴拉巴，並把耶穌交給他們任意處置。
