日落的时候，不论害什么病的人，都被带到耶稣那里；他一一为他们按手，医好他们。

耶稣上了岸，看见一大群人，就怜悯他们，医好了他们的病人。

有人带了一个被鬼附着、又瞎又哑的人到耶稣那里。耶稣医好了他，那哑巴就能说话，也能看见了。

甚至有人把病人抬到街上，放在小床和褥子上，好让彼得经过时，至少他的身影可以落在一些人身上。

因为当时耶稣吩咐他：“你这污灵，从这人身上出来！”

到了黄昏，有人不断把生病的和被鬼附的，都带到耶稣面前。全城的人都聚集在门口。耶稣医好了各样的病，也赶出许多的鬼，并且不许鬼说话，因为鬼认识他。

那时，有几个赶鬼的犹太人，周游各处，擅自用主耶稣的名，向身上有邪灵的人说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣的名，命令你们出来。”有一个犹太人士基瓦，是祭司长，他的七个儿子都作这事。邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我认识，保罗我也知道；你们是谁？”邪灵所附的那人就扑到他们身上，制伏了两人，胜过了他们，使他们赤着身带着伤，从那房子逃了出来。

耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教导人，宣扬天国的福音，医治民间各种疾病、各种病症。他的名声传遍了叙利亚全地，人们就把一切患病的，就是患各种疾病、疼痛、鬼附、癫痫、瘫痪的，都带到他面前，他就医好他们。

那时有人把一个瘫子带到耶稣那里，是由四个人抬来的。

有人把一个躺在床上的瘫子带到他那里。耶稣看见他们的信心，就对瘫子说：“孩子，放心！你的罪赦了。”

耶稣斥责他说：“住口！从他身上出来！”污灵使那人抽疯，大声喊叫，就从他身上出来了。众人都很惊讶，于是彼此对问说：“这是怎么一回事？是个有权能的新道理啊！他吩咐污灵，污灵竟服从了他！”

放猪的人逃进城里，把被鬼附的人的遭遇和一切事情，都报告出来。

耶稣看见群众围拢了来，就斥责那污鬼说：“聋哑的鬼，我吩咐你从他身上出来，不要再进去。”
