那领了五千两银子的，带着另外的五千两上前来，说：‘主啊，你交托给我五千两银子，请看，我另外赚了五千两。’

那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

And he that received the five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: lo, I have gained other five talents.

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

不過哪怕是犧牲性命，我也在所不辭，，只盼望我能跑完當跑的路程，完成主耶穌交託給我的使命，為上帝充滿恩典的福音做見證。

必有人說：「你有信心，我有行為。」請把你沒有行為的信心指給我看，我就藉著行為把我的信心顯給你看。

在上帝和審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，我憑基督的顯現和祂的國鄭重囑咐你：無論時機好壞，都要堅持傳道，以百般的忍耐和教導督責人、警戒人、勉勵人。因為有一天，人們會厭倦純正的教導，耳朵發癢，尋找許多迎合他們私慾的老師。他們掩耳不聽真理，反而偏向無稽之談。然而，你要謹慎行事，不怕吃苦，專心傳道，盡忠職守。我的生命如同奉獻在祭壇上的酒正傾倒出來，我離世的日子快要到了。那美好的仗，我打過了；當跑的路，我跑完了；所信的道，我持守住了。從此，有公義的冠冕為我預備，按公義審判的主會在祂來的那一天把它賜給我，不但會賜給我，也會賜給所有愛慕祂顯現的人。

為此，我按著祂在我身上運行的大能盡心竭力，不辭勞苦。

第一個奴僕上前稟告說，『主啊，我用你給我的一千個銀幣賺了一萬個銀幣。』「主人說，『好，你真是個好奴僕！你既然在小事上忠心，就派你管理十座城。』

但靠著上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂賜給我的恩典沒有枉費。我比其他人更加賣力，不過我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典與我同在。
