凡作恶的人都恨恶光，不来接近光，恐怕他的行为被暴露。

你若说：“看哪，这事我们不知道”，那衡量人心的岂不明白吗？保护你性命的岂不知道吗？他岂不按各人所做的报应各人吗？

‘要观看，你们这些藐视的人，要惊讶，要灭亡，因为在你们的日子，我行一件事，虽有人告诉你们，你们总是不信。’”

挪亚的日子怎样，人子来临也要怎样。

他们既无知，又不思想；因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼，使他们看不见，塞住他们的心，使他们不明白。没有一个心里醒悟，有知识，有聪明，能说：“我曾拿一部分用火燃烧，在炭火上烤饼，也烤肉来吃。这剩下的，我岂要做可憎之像吗？我岂可向木头叩拜呢？”

所以，他将猛烈的怒气和战争的威力倾倒在以色列身上；在他周围如火燃起，他竟然不知，烧着了，他也不在意。

全以色列中的一万精兵来到基比亚前，战争十分激烈。便雅悯人却不知道灾祸临近了。

义人关注贫寒人的案情；恶人不明了这种知识。

并要消灭你和你里头的儿女，连一块石头也不留在另一块石头上，因为你不知道你蒙眷顾的时候。”

我之所以用比喻对他们讲，是因为他们看却看不清，听却听不见，也不明白。在他们身上，正应验了以赛亚的预言：‘你们听了又听，却不明白，看了又看，却看不清。因为这百姓的心麻木，耳朵发沉，眼睛闭着，免得眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，我会医治他们。’

他们既然故意不认识神，神就任凭他们存扭曲的心，做那些不该做的事，

他们故意忘记这事，就是从太古凭神的话有了天，并由水而出和藉着水而成的地；

说：“人击打我，但我未受伤，重击我，我不觉得。我几时清醒，还要再去寻酒。”
