因为凡要救自己生命的，必丧失生命；凡为我丧失生命的，他必救自己的生命。

这就是我所切慕、所盼望的：没有一事能使我羞愧；反倒凡事坦然无惧，无论是生是死，总要让基督在我身上照常显大。因为我活着就是基督，死了就有益处。

至于我，我已经被浇献，离世的时候到了。那美好的仗我已经打过了，当跑的路我已经跑尽了，该信的道我已经守住了。从此以后，有公义的冠冕为我存留，就是按着公义审判的主到了那日要赐给我的；不但赐给我，也赐给凡爱慕他显现的人。
