入夜、主示異象謂葆樂曰：『毋餒於心、侃侃傳道、勿緘爾口。

當時惟主佑我、充我以大無畏精神、俾我猶克從容布道於異邦人、且竟能安然脫出獅口。

萬民擾攘列邦亂。天主發音大地顫。

申言之天主實寓基督內、慨然賜世人與之言歸於好、而不復計其舊惡、更簡吾儕專司重歡之道；
