And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in[ his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger[ from his right], and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

万军之耶和华说：“我要来到你们当中施行审判，速速作证指控那些行邪术的、通奸的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺压寡妇孤儿的、冤枉异乡人的，以及不敬畏我的。

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快指证那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、在工钱上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居的和不敬畏我的。”

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们施行审判；我要快快作证控告那些行巫术的、通奸的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺压雇工的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、虧負人之工價的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的，和不敬畏我的。」

萬軍之永恆主說：『我必走近你們來行審判；我必做個敏捷果決的見證、來警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、在工價上欺壓雇工人的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的；而他們竟不畏懼我。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們施行審判；我要快快作證控告那些行巫術的、通姦的、起假誓的、在工酬上欺壓雇工的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的，以及不敬畏我的！

我必蒞臨、行鞫於爾、凡巫覡及淫亂妄誓、負傭值、欺孤寡、屈賓旅、而不畏我者、我必亟證之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、我必涖臨、降災於爾、凡巫覡行淫之子、妄誓之輩、奪傭人之值、虐遇孤寡、使賓旅不得伸其枉屈、而不敬畏我者、必速降以罰。

萬有之主曰、我必涖臨爾曹、施行審鞫、必速譴責、必速譴責原文作必亟為證以攻凡有邪術者、犯姦淫者、發假誓者、負負或作奪傭人值者、虐遇孤寡者、屈枉客旅而不敬畏我者、

“ So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty.

“ So I will come and put you on trial. I will be quick to bring charges against all of you,” says the Lord who rules over all.“ I will bring charges against you sinful people who do not have any respect for me. That includes those who practice evil magic. It includes those who commit adultery and those who tell lies in court. It includes those who cheat workers out of their pay. It includes those who treat widows badly. It also includes those who mistreat children whose fathers have died. And it includes those who take away the rights of outsiders in the courts.

“ Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.

“ At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident alien. They do not fear me,” says the LORD of Armies.

“ Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, those who oppress the wage earner in his wages or the widow or the orphan, and those who turn away the stranger from justice and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien— Because they do not fear Me,” Says the Lord of hosts.

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner from his right, and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.

“ I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the widow and the fatherless, and cheat the wage earner; and against those who deny justice to the foreigner. They do not fear Me,” says the Lord of Hosts.

“ I will come to you in judgment. I will be quick to testify against those who practice divination, those who commit adultery, those who break promises, and those who exploit workers, widows, and orphans, who refuse to help the immigrant and in this way show they do not fear me,” says the LORD who rules over all.

I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says Yahweh of Armies.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Marriage[ is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold[ him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob[ him]: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Cursed[ be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger,[ nor] of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

Thou shalt not kill.Neither shalt thou commit adultery.Neither shalt thou steal.Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any[ thing] that[ is] thy neighbour’s.

And not[ rather],( as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet[ is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and[ am] a witness, saith the LORD.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard[ speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live;[ for] I fear God:

And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are[ these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told[ you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied[ him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil[ is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where[ is] the God of judgment?

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Then said he unto me, This[ is] the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off[ as] on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off[ as] on that side according to it.I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart,[ that there is] no fear of God before his eyes.

For we know him that hath said, Vengeance[ belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.[ It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The fear of the LORD[ is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD[ men] depart from evil.

Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and[ your] nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

But the former governors that[ had been] before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in[ yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.Woe unto you,[ ye] blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor![ Ye] fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.[ Ye] fools and blind: for whether[ is] greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier[ matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.[ Ye] blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.[ Thou] blind Pharisee, cleanse first that[ which is] within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead[ men’s] bones, and of all uncleanness.Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.[ Ye] serpents,[ ye] generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and[ some] of them ye shall kill and crucify; and[ some] of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute[ them] from city to city:That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God[ is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood[ shall be] upon them.

Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

And the man that committeth adultery with[ another] man’s wife,[ even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

For without[ are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

That no[ man] go beyond and defraud his brother in[ any] matter: because that the Lord[ is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:For their redeemer[ is] mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place[ such] over them,[ to be] rulers of thousands,[ and] rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God[ is] judge himself. Selah.Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I[ am] God,[ even] thy God.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I,[ even] I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant[ that is] poor and needy,[ whether he be] of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that[ are] in thy land within thy gates:At his day thou shalt give[ him] his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he[ is] poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.

Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong;[ that] useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and[ it is] cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.Shalt thou reign, because thou closest[ thyself] in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice,[ and] then[ it was] well with him?He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then[ it was] well[ with him: was] not this to know me? saith the LORD.But thine eyes and thine heart[ are] not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do[ it].

Rob not the poor, because he[ is] poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
