那税吏远远地站着，连举目望天也不敢，只捶着胸说：‘神啊，开恩可怜我这个罪人！’

“那税吏却远远地站着，甚至不敢举目望天，可是捶着胸说：‘神哪，你宽恕我这个罪人吧！’

那收稅人卻遠遠地站着，連舉目望天也不敢，只捶着胸膛說：「上帝啊，開恩憐憫我這個罪人哦！」

「那稅吏卻遠遠地站著，甚至不敢舉目望天，可是捶著胸說：『神哪，你寬恕我這個罪人吧！』

稅吏遠立、不敢舉目仰天、第拊膺曰、上帝歟、憐我罪人也、

稅吏遠立、不敢舉目仰天、搥胸曰、天主、矜憐我罪人、

稅吏遙立、弗敢仰視、惟拊膺曰：「求主憐我罪人！」

“ But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,‘ God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

“ But the tax collector stood farther away than the Pharisee. He would not even look up to heaven. He brought his hand to his heart and prayed. He said,‘ God, have mercy on me. I am a sinner.’

But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

“ But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying,‘ O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’

“ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even raise his eyes to heaven but kept striking his chest and saying,‘ God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’

But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be thou merciful to me a sinner.

“ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even raise his eyes to heaven but kept striking his chest and saying,‘ God, turn Your wrath from me— a sinner!’

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as[ his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

The tax collector, however, stood far off and would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,‘ God, be merciful to me, sinner that I am!’

曰、我上帝歟、予覺赧然、不敢仰視、蓋我眾罪惡滔天、幾至滅頂。

我言無罪、則自欺而失真理、若我任罪、上帝公義、言出惟行、將赦我罪、滌我愆尤、自謂無罪、是以上帝言為不然、去道不亦遠乎、

有一言可信可嘉者、即基督耶穌臨世救罪人、其中我乃元惡、

眾聚觀、歷見其事、拊膺而返、

眾聞此言中心如刺、問彼得及餘使徒曰、兄弟、我當何為、

乃基督之死、則為我罪人、上帝之愛益彰、

我曰、余與斯民、滿口穢濁、得覲大君、睹萬有之主耶和華、我命其尚可保乎、禍必不遠矣、

惟人樂於為善、恆念爾道、爾其善待之、我屢作惡、干爾震怒、焉能得救。我儕污衊、雖有片長、仍如不潔之布、我若已枯之葉、因罪見驅、為風飄颻、

故當毅然至沾恩之位之前、得矜恤恩寵、適合機宜而助我、

我曰、耶和華其矜憫予、予蹈罪愆、爾其醫予兮、

惟主上帝、仁慈矜憫、恆忍不已、施恩格外、踐其前言兮、求爾垂顧、矜憫我躬、護祐爾僕、我之母為爾之婢、爾其拯予兮、

耶穌偕往、離屋不遠、百夫長使其友就之曰、主、勿勞臨我舍、我不敢當、亦不堪就爾、第發一言、僕必愈、

故我自憾、坐於塗炭、旋有悔心。○

余將宥其不義、不念其罪惡、

我將反就父曰、我獲罪於天、及於父前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、視我如傭人足矣、於是反就父相去尚遠、父見憫之、趨抱其頸、接吻焉、其子曰、我獲罪於天、及父於前、今而後、不堪稱為爾子、

我聞以法蓮哭曰、昔予如放逸之犢、爾督責予、而我受責、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、俾我悛改。我既悛改、悔於厥衷、我既受教、擊髀浩嘆、幼時已干罪戾、既長更負愆尤、含羞抱愧、無地可容。

其二責之曰、爾同受罪、何不畏上帝乎、我儕宜也、蓋我所受、當我所行、而此人所為、無不是也、乃謂耶穌曰、主、歸爾國、其憶我、耶穌曰、我誠告爾、今日爾必同我在樂園矣、○

西門彼得見此、俯伏耶穌足下、曰、主宜舍我、我乃罪人、

待我與爾復和、則爾當憶昔所為、抱慙不已、不敢自伐、我耶和華已言之矣。

耶和華又曰、爾來、吾語汝、爾罪貫盈、其色濃若赭、深若絳、我必使之皓然潔白、如棉如雪。

上帝矜恤無涯、憐憫乎我、塗抹我愆尤、洗滌我罪惡、消除我過失兮、予自言己罪、恆念己惡、

惟爾遵上帝道而憂、所以殷勤、自訴、怨艾、恐懼、戀慕、熱中、自責、若是、故爾得以此自表為潔、

禍患切身、不可勝計、罪惡貫盈、不敢翹首、擢髮難數、使予喪膽兮。

其父後能於耶和華前革其非心、亞門不然、犯罪愈重。

耶和華兮、矜恤我、拯救我、踐爾前言兮、

我之上帝與、我儕祈禱、非為我義、乃為爾仁慈、求爾垂聽斯邑、為籲爾名之所、今已荒圯、爾其鑒察焉、斯邑斯民、皆屬上帝、望主垂聽、望主赦宥、望主助余勿緩、以彰爾榮、

我儕犯罪作惡、違爾律例、棄爾禮儀、

但往學我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀之語、其意何歟、蓋我來、非招義人、乃招罪人悔改耳、○

列祖犯罪、我儕濟其惡、愆尤叢集、

耶和華兮、矜憫為懷、救人不倦、以色列族當企望之兮、

耶和華兮、若爾鑒察惡行、人難自立兮、惟爾赦宥頻加、使人敬畏爾兮、

主秉公義、惟我儕猶大人耶路撒冷居民、以色列族眾、無論遐邇、因犯罪愆、為爾驅逐、星散於四方、俱當含羞、今日之事為證。我與我王公列祖、獲罪乎主、必當抱愧蒙羞、我主我上帝矜憫為懷、恆加赦宥、我儕違逆、不遵我之上帝耶和華、不從爾臣僕諸先知訓我之律例、我以色列眾犯爾律法、不遵爾命、我既獲罪、故爾僕摩西律例所載之咒詛、臨於我躬、

入一村、遇癩者十人、遠立揚聲曰、

耶和華兮、余也壯時作惡、願毋追念、爾也矜憫為懷、請惟予之繫戀、

馬拿西於患難中、自怨自艾、禱列祖之上帝耶和華、耶和華允所祈、復其國祚、俾仍都於耶路撒冷、自是馬拿西知耶和華誠為上帝。

予罪孔多、願耶和華特加赦宥、彰爾仁慈兮、

律法立、而罪之多以顯、亦罪多、而恩之洪益彰、罪惡乘權、死者攸係、恩寵稱義乘權、永生可致、要惟賴吾主耶穌基督為然、

馬拿西有所祈、上帝允之、未自卑之前、所犯罪愆、所築崇坵、所奉偶像、載於何賽之書特詳。○
