So those slaves went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.

Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow within your gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the Lord your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

As He stepped ashore, He saw a huge crowd, felt compassion for them, and healed their sick.When evening came, the disciples approached Him and said,“ This place is a wilderness, and it is already late. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.Everyone ate and was filled. Then they picked up 12 baskets full of leftover pieces!Now those who ate were about 5,000 men, besides women and children.

Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.

Rejoice before Yahweh your God in the place where He chooses to have His name dwell— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, the Levite within your gates, as well as the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow among you.

and is well known for good works— that is, if she has brought up children, shown hospitality, washed the saints’ feet, helped the afflicted, and devoted herself to every good work.

Then all the people began to eat and drink, send portions, and have a great celebration, because they had understood the words that were explained to them.

Now Jesus summoned His disciples and said,“ I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve already stayed with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry; otherwise they might collapse on the way.”The disciples said to Him,“ Where could we get enough bread in this desolate place to fill such a crowd?”“ How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked them.“ Seven,” they said,“ and a few small fish.”After commanding the crowd to sit down on the ground,He took the seven loaves and the fish, and He gave thanks, broke them, and kept on giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.They all ate and were filled. Then they collected the leftover pieces— seven large baskets full.Now those who ate were 4,000 men, besides women and children.After dismissing the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.

For there was not a needy person among them, because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,and laid them at the apostles’ feet. This was then distributed for each person’s basic needs.

Now all the believers were together and held all things in common.They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as anyone had a need.

Give beer to one who is dying and wine to one whose life is bitter.Let him drink so that he can forget his poverty and remember his trouble no more.

Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

for Hezekiah king of Judah contributed 1,000 bulls and 7,000 sheep for the congregation. Also, the officials contributed 1,000 bulls and 10,000 sheep for the congregation, and many priests consecrated themselves.

Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.Be in agreement with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

But give from what is within to the poor, and then everything is clean for you.

So Peter got up and went with them. When he arrived, they led him to the room upstairs. And all the widows approached him, weeping and showing him the robes and clothes that Dorcas had made while she was with them.
