耶穌對他們說：『你們去告訴那個狐狸說：「你看吧，今天明天我趕鬼，完成醫務，第三天我就完了。」

耶稣说：“你们去告诉那个狐狸说：‘今天、明天我赶鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。’

耶稣对他们说：“你们去告诉那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驱赶鬼魔、治愈疾病，然后在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌對他們說：「你們去告訴那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驅趕鬼魔、治癒疾病，然後在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌對曰：『往告彼狐、予於今日明日逐魔治疾、第三日將畢吾程；

He replied,“ Go tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’

He replied,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons. I will keep on healing people today and tomorrow. And on the third day I will reach my goal.’

And he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.

Jesus replied,“ Go tell that fox that I will keep on casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow; and the third day I will accomplish my purpose.

He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look, I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.’

And He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.’

And He said to them,“ Go, tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’

And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to- day and to- morrow, and the third day I am perfected.

He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look! I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete My work.’

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third[ day] I shall be perfected.

But he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.

He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.

因為萬有所為、萬有所藉而存在的上帝，在領着許多兒子進入榮耀，使拯救他們的開創者藉着受苦而得完全，本是適當的。

既成了完全勝任的，便對一切聽從他的人成了永世拯救的本原，

只是分封王希律、因了自己兄弟的妻子希羅底的事、又因了自己所行的一切惡事受約翰指責、竟在一切之上多加了一件：把約翰關在監裏。

耶穌應時對他們說：『我把許多由父而來的善事顯給你們看；你們為其中的哪一件要用石頭打我呢？』

以色列啊，你的神言人如同荒場中的狼。

我說：雅各的首領啊，你們要聽；以色列家的官長啊，你們要留心；你們的本分不是應當明白公平麼？你們這些恨惡良善、喜愛壞事、從我人民身上剝奪了皮、從他們骨頭上剔肉的；你們這些喫我人民的肉、剝去他們的皮、打折他們的骨頭，切開像肉塊在鍋裏，像肉在釜中的。

因耶穌名聲之顯揚、希律王聽見了。有人說：『是施洗的約翰從死人中活了起來，故此才有這些異能運行在他身上。』

門徒對他說：『老師，近今來猶太人正想法子要用石頭打你呢。你再往那裏去麼？』耶穌回答說：『白日不是有十二個鐘頭麼？人若在白日走路，就不碰倒，因為看見這世界的光。但人若在黑夜裏走路，就會碰倒，因為沒有光在他身上。』

王很是憂困；只因有了起誓的話和坐席的人，就不好意思辭絕她。王立刻差遣一個衛兵，吩咐將約翰的頭拿來。衛兵就去，在監裏把約翰斬首，將他的頭放在盤子裏拿來，給那閨女；閨女就給了她母親。

律法是設立了許多人做大祭司、總是有弱點的人；但律法之後起誓的話卻是設立了一個兒子、是完全勝任到永遠的。

希律看見耶穌，就極其歡喜；他因為聽見過耶穌的事，好久以來就想要看看他，並指望看見神迹由他手裏行出來。於是用好些話問耶穌；耶穌呢、甚麼都不回答他。祭司長和經學士都站着，極力控告他。希律同他的兵藐視他，戲弄他，給他披上華麗的衣服，把他送回給彼拉多。

我已經在地上榮耀你；你所給了我、叫我作的工，我已經完成了。如今父啊，求你用未有世界以先我和你同在時所有的榮耀、在你自己面前榮耀我。

她中間的首領是吼叫的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點啃骨肉也不留到早晨。

分封王希律聽見一切的事，心裏就很為難，因為有人說是約翰從死人中活了起來，有人說是以利亞顯現，還有人說是古時候一個神言人復起了。希律卻說，『約翰、我已經斬首了；這個人呢、我聽見他這樣的事的、到底是誰？』就想法子要見耶穌。

耶穌受了酸酒，就說：『完成了！』便低下頭，把靈交付了。
