He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for the leader’s sin, and he will be forgiven.

He must burn all the fat on the altar. He must burn it in the same way he burned the fat of the friendship offering. When he does, he will pay for the sin of the leader. And the leader will be forgiven.

And all its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. So the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin, and he shall be forgiven.

Then he must burn all the goat’s fat on the altar, just as he does with the peace offering. Through this process, the priest will purify the leader from his sin, making him right with the Lord, and he will be forgiven.

如昔獻犢為贖罪之祭然、於是罪愆可贖、得蒙赦宥。

亞倫子孫必置脂於壇、陳於柴、與日獻祭物、同爇以火、是為燔祭、取其馨香、以奉事我。○

次獻燔祭、循其常例、祭司代為贖罪、可蒙赦宥。

取蓋臟之脂、腹中所有之脂、腰間左右腎、與其脂、及肝片、如昔獻牛為酬恩之祭、而取其脂然。

應獻之物、必盈其數、加五分之一、攜至祭司、容祭司取羊、代為贖罪、得蒙赦宥。

祭司代為贖罪於我前、其蹈罪愆由於無知、可蒙赦宥。

此數者中、祭司取其一、為人贖罪、得蒙赦宥、祭物之餘、悉歸祭司、若禮物然。○

亞倫及其子孫、受膏之日、必以粉六升、獻於我前、以為禮物、晨取其半、暮取其半、以鼎煎熬、調和以油、禮物既炊、擘之而獻、取其馨香、以奉事我。亞倫子孫中、有代亞倫受膏為祭司者、必獻是禮、焚之務盡、斯乃永例、以奉事我、蓋祭司所獻之禮物、必盡焚毋食。○又曰、以贖罪祭之例、告亞倫及其子孫、既在我前而宰燔牲、即於其處、宰贖罪之祭牲、是乃至聖。聖地會幕之場、祭司宰牲於是、食牲亦於是。惟成聖者、得捫其肉、如牲血灑人衣、必於聖地澣濯。烹犧牲之肉、如用瓦器、必毀之、如用銅器、必加濯磨。是肉至聖、惟祭司諸丁男可食。凡獻牲以贖罪、攜其血入會幕、以蓋愆尤、其肉不得食、必焚之以火、

緣其無知而有過、必攜牡綿羊、純潔是務、依所估之價與祭司、以補其過、容祭司代為贖罪、得蒙赦宥、

祭司於我前、代為贖罪、而人所犯者、得蒙赦宥。○
