「你們審判的時候，不可不公正；不可偏護貧窮人，也不可看重有權勢人的臉，總要公平審判你的鄰舍。

“‘ Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

“‘ Do not make something wrong appear to be right. Treat poor people and rich people in the same way. Do not favor one person over another. Instead, judge everyone fairly.

“ You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.

“ Do not twist justice in legal matters by favoring the poor or being partial to the rich and powerful. Always judge people fairly.

“ Do not act unjustly when deciding a case. Do not be partial to the poor or give preference to the rich; judge your neighbor fairly.

‘ You shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not show partiality to the poor nor give preference to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.

‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.

審判的時候不可看人的情面；無論大小，你們都要聽訟。不可因人而懼怕，因為審判是神的事。你們當中若有難斷的案件，可以呈到我這裏，讓我來聽訟。』

以下也是智慧人的箴言：審判時看人情面是不好的。

「你們審判的時候，不可用不公正的度量衡。

不可屈枉正直，不可看人的情面，也不可接受賄賂，因為賄賂能使智慧人的眼睛變瞎，又能曲解義人的證詞。

「不可在貧窮人的訴訟中屈枉正直。當遠離誣告的事。不可殺害無辜和義人，因我必不以惡人為義。不可接受賄賂，因為賄賂能使明眼人變瞎，又能曲解義人的證詞。

不可附和羣眾作惡；不可在訴訟中附和羣眾歪曲公正，作歪曲的見證；也不可在訴訟中偏袒貧寒人。

你們審判不秉公義，抬舉惡人的臉面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）

你們卻羞辱貧窮的人。欺壓你們，拉你們到公堂去的，不就是這些富有的人嗎？毀謗為你們求告時所奉的尊名的，不就是他們嗎？經上記着：「要愛鄰如己」，你們若切實守這至尊的律法，你們就做得很好。但你們若按外貌待人就是犯罪，是被律法定為犯法的。

「『對寄居的、孤兒和寡婦屈枉正直的，必受詛咒！』眾百姓要說：『阿們！』

「你袋中不可有一大一小兩樣的法碼。你家裏不可有一大一小兩樣的伊法。當用準確公正的法碼和伊法，好使你的日子在耶和華－你神所賜你的地上得以長久。因為行這一切不義之事的人都是耶和華－你神所憎惡的。」

偏袒惡人的情面，是不好的。審判時使義人受屈，也是不善。

他對審判官說：「你們應當謹慎所做的事，因為你們審判不是為人，而是為耶和華。在審判的事上，他必與你們同在。現在，你們應當敬畏耶和華，謹慎辦事，因為耶和華－我們的神沒有不義，不看人的情面，也不受賄賂。」

你也要從百姓中選出有才能的人，敬畏神、誠實可靠、恨惡不義之財的人，派他們作千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長來管理百姓。
