Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, or made the dawn know its place,

“你自生以来，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位，

“你有生以来，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，

“你有生以来，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，

“你生平可曾向晨曦发号施令，为黎明的曙光指定岗位，

自你有生以来，你何曾吩咐过晨光照耀，使黎明的曙光知道自己的本位，

你自生以來，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位，

「你有生以來，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，

「你有生以來，曾命定晨光，曾使黎明知道自己的地位，

「你生平可曾向晨曦發號施令，為黎明的曙光指定崗位，

自你有生以來，你何曾吩咐過晨光照耀，使黎明的曙光知道自己的本位，

『從你生日以來、你何曾吩咐過早晨，使天亮知道它的本位，

爾自誕生以來、豈曾命定晨光、使黎明知其所乎、

爾誕生以來、亦曾命旭日升、黎明至乎。

爾誕生以來、曾命晨光、曾定黎明之處乎、

“ Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,

“ Job, have you ever commanded the morning to come? Have you ever shown the sun where to rise?

“ Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place,

“ Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east?

Have you ever in your life commanded the morning or assigned the dawn its place,

“ Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, And made the dawn know its place,

“ Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place,

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days began, And caused the dayspring to know its place;

Have you ever in your life commanded the morning or assigned the dawn its place,

Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days;[ and] caused the dayspring to know his place;

“ Have you commanded the morning in your days, and caused the dawn to know its place,

You established the cycle of day and night; you put the moon and sun in place.

Praise him, O sun and moon! Praise him, all you shiny stars!Praise him, O highest heaven, and you waters above the sky!Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence.

Moreover, we possess the prophetic word as an altogether reliable thing. You do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a murky place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

For we were born yesterday and do not have knowledge, since our days on earth are but a shadow.

Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high

God called the light“ day” and the darkness“ night.” There was evening, and there was morning, marking the first day.

You know, for you were born before them; and the number of your days is great!

“ Were you the first man ever born? Were you brought forth before the hills?

“ Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you possess understanding!

to the one who made the great lights, for his loyal love endures,the sun to rule by day, for his loyal love endures,
