世人維何、能為潔乎、婦所生者維何、得稱義乎、

斯世之人、何得言潔、婦女所生者、何得稱義。

世人為誰、焉得言潔、由婦而生者為誰、豈得稱義、

How then can a human being be righteous before God? How can one born of a woman be pure?If even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure as far as he is concerned,how much less a mortal man, who is but a maggot– a son of man, who is only a worm!”

Everyone rejects God; they are all morally corrupt. None of them does what is right, not even one!

But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given– because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ– to those who believe.
