又曰、人子必多受苦、為長老與祭司諸長及經士所棄、且見殺、至第三日復活、又謂眾曰、人欲從我、則當克己、日負其十字架而從我、凡欲救其生命者、反喪之、為我而喪其生命者、反救之、人盡得天下而自喪自亡、何益之有、凡以我及我道為可恥、迨人子以己與父及聖天使之榮臨時、亦必以其人為可恥、

撒母耳謂民曰、爾勿懼、已行是惡、亦無如之何、惟今而後、勿違棄主、盡心崇事主、

自是耶穌示門徒、己必往耶路撒冷、多受苦於長老、祭司諸長、及經士、且見殺、至第三日復活、彼得遂援而勸之曰、主、不可、此必不臨爾、耶穌顧彼得謂之曰、撒但退、爾阻我、因爾不念天主之事、乃念人之事也、時耶穌謂門徒曰、凡欲從我者當克己、負十字架而從我、凡欲救其生命者、反喪之、為我而喪其生命者、反得之、

有人講道、當講如天主所默示之語、若供事、當如己賴天主所賜之力、如是、凡事可因耶穌基督歸榮於天主、願榮光權力歸之、至於世世、阿們、○可愛者乎、爾今遇火鍊試爾、勿異之以為遭非常之事、反當喜樂、因與基督共受苦也、使爾於其榮光顯現之時、亦可歡欣踴躍、爾為基督之名被詬、則為有福、因天主榮光之神、賦畀爾、賦畀爾原文作止於爾上基督為彼所謗讟、為爾所讚榮、有原文抄本無此二句

是為應耶穌之言、指己將若何而死、

欲事我者、當從我、我所在、事我者亦在、人若事我、我父必貴之、

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、爾曹從我者、至萬物更新、人子坐其榮位時、爾曹亦將坐十二位、審判以色列十二支派、

惟我僕迦勒緣聽從我、不與眾同心、我必使其得入所往之地、使其後裔得以為業、
