凡欲從基督耶穌而虔敬度日者、必受窘逐、

我誠告爾、僕不大於主、奉遣者不大於遣之者、

徒不逾師、僕不逾主、徒如師、僕如主、足矣、

惟以色列族、必不聽爾、蓋不肯聽我、以色列全族面無羞恥、其心剛愎、

猶太人殺主耶穌、及己之先知、又窘逐我儕、彼不為天主所悅、且與眾人為敵、

遇窘逐而不見棄、被傾仆而不致亡、

且勞苦、親手操作、被詬詈則祝、被窘逐則忍、

我儕所傳者、我儕所傳者或作所傳於我儕者有誰信之、主之聖臂、顯示於誰、彼彼即主之僕救主於主前、生發若芽、亦若根株出於燥土、無佳色美容、不足使我瞻望、無所可觀、不足使我羨慕、彼被藐視、被人厭棄、備嘗痛苦、熟悉病患、彼於我儕前、若掩面之人、彼於我儕前若掩面之人或作猶人掩面不欲見之人被人藐視、我儕並未敬之、

猶太人復取石欲擊之、

希律本丟彼拉多、異邦人、以色列民、果集以攻爾所膏之聖子耶穌、以成爾權爾旨預定之事、今彼恐喝我儕、求主鑒之、賜僕毅然傳爾道、施權以醫人、使我以聖子耶穌之名行異跡奇事、

有何先知而爾祖不窘逐之乎、預言義者將至之人、爾祖殺之、此義者、今爾已賣而殺之、爾受天使所傳律法而不守、○眾聞此言、心大怒、向之切齒、司提反充滿聖神、注目仰天、見天主之榮、又見耶穌立於天主右、曰、我見天開、人子立於天主右、眾厲聲而呼、掩耳同心擁上、逐之出城、以石擊之、證者解衣、置一少者足前、少者名掃羅、眾以石擊司提反、司提反籲曰、主耶穌、接我靈、又跪而大聲呼曰、主歟、莫以此罪歸之、言畢而逝、逝原文作寢

故猶太人窘逐耶穌欲殺之、以其行此事於安息日也、

我誠告爾、人若守我道、則永不死、

祭司諸長及法利賽人已出令、凡知耶穌所在、即當明報以執之、

眾取石欲擊之、耶穌隱避、出聖殿、自眾中經過而去、

西緬祝之、謂耶穌之母瑪利亞曰、此子被立、為使以色列多人、或傾仆、或興起、亦為異跡、被人誹謗、

法利賽人聞眾因耶穌如此議論、則與祭司諸長遣吏役執之、

主諭撒母耳曰、民向爾所言、爾惟從之、彼非棄爾、乃棄我、不欲我為其王、
