耶穌說：「人子得榮耀的時候到了。

我賜給你們一條新命令，乃是叫你們彼此相愛；我怎樣愛你們，你們也要怎樣相愛。

耶穌知道父已將萬有交在他手裏，且知道自己是從神出來的，又要歸到神那裏去，

我從父出來，到了世界；我又離開世界，往父那裏去。」

並那誠實作見證的、從死裏首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離罪惡，

你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。要用水藉着道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，

他們不屬世界，正如我不屬世界一樣。

我們愛，因為神先愛我們。

我們願你們各人都顯出這樣的殷勤，使你們有滿足的指望，一直到底。

我為他們祈求，不為世人祈求，卻為你所賜給我的人祈求，因他們本是你的。凡是我的，都是你的；你的也是我的，並且我因他們得了榮耀。從今以後，我不在世上，他們卻在世上；我往你那裏去。聖父啊，求你因你所賜給我的名保守他們，叫他們合而為一像我們一樣。

那時猶太人的逾越節近了。

猶太人的逾越節近了，有許多人從鄉下上耶路撒冷去，要在節前潔淨自己。

耶穌說了這話，就舉目望天，說：「父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你；

耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來對他們說：「你們找誰？」

我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣；你們要常在我的愛裏。你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裏，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裏。

凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」

我已將你的名指示他們，還要指示他們，使你所愛我的愛在他們裏面，我也在他們裏面。」

過兩天是逾越節，又是除酵節，祭司長和文士想法子怎麼用詭計捉拿耶穌，殺他。只是說：「當節的日子不可，恐怕百姓生亂。」

你們聽見我對你們說了，我去還要到你們這裏來。你們若愛我，因我到父那裏去，就必喜樂，因為父是比我大的。

「你們知道，過兩天是逾越節，人子將要被交給人，釘在十字架上。」那時，祭司長和民間的長老聚集在大祭司稱為該亞法的院裏。大家商議要用詭計拿住耶穌，殺他，只是說：「當節的日子不可，恐怕民間生亂。」

於是來到門徒那裏，對他們說：「現在你們仍然睡覺安歇吧！時候到了，人子被賣在罪人手裏了。

除酵節（又名逾越節）近了。祭司長和文士想法子怎麼才能殺害耶穌，是因他們懼怕百姓。

耶穌回答說：「白日不是有十二小時嗎？人在白日走路，就不致跌倒，因為看見這世上的光。若在黑夜走路，就必跌倒，因為他沒有光。」

他們就想要捉拿耶穌；只是沒有人下手，因為他的時候還沒有到。

現今我往差我來的父那裏去，你們中間並沒有人問我：『你往哪裏去？』只因我將這事告訴你們，你們就滿心憂愁。然而，我將真情告訴你們，我去是與你們有益的；我若不去，保惠師就不到你們這裏來；我若去，就差他來。

這些話是耶穌在殿裏的庫房教訓人時所說的，也沒有人拿他，因為他的時候還沒有到。

但基督為兒子，治理神的家；我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是他的家了。

我天天同你們在殿裏，你們不下手拿我。現在卻是你們的時候，黑暗掌權了。」

父啊，現在求你使我同你享榮耀，就是未有世界以先，我同你所有的榮耀。

我們若將起初確實的信心堅持到底，就在基督裏有分了。

耶穌就對他們說：「我的時候還沒有到；你們的時候常是方便的。

所以要約束你們的心，謹慎自守，專心盼望耶穌基督顯現的時候所帶來給你們的恩。

耶穌說：「你們去告訴那個狐狸說：『今天、明天我趕鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。』雖然這樣，今天、明天、後天，我必須前行，因為先知在耶路撒冷之外喪命是不能的。

耶穌被接上升的日子將到，他就定意向耶路撒冷去，

現在我往你那裏去，我還在世上說這話，是叫他們心裏充滿我的喜樂。我已將你的道賜給他們。世界又恨他們；因為他們不屬世界，正如我不屬世界一樣。

古時耶和華向以色列顯現，說：我以永遠的愛愛你，因此我以慈愛吸引你。

人為朋友捨命，人的愛心沒有比這個大的。你們若遵行我所吩咐的，就是我的朋友了。

他也必堅固你們到底，叫你們在我們主耶穌基督的日子無可責備。

然而，靠着愛我們的主，在這一切的事上已經得勝有餘了。
