耶穌所愛的那門徒對彼得說：“是主！”西門．彼得一聽見是主，就立刻束上外衣（因為他當時赤著身子），縱身跳進海裡。

你們稱呼我‘老師，主’，你們說得對，我本來就是。

馬大聽見耶穌來了，就去迎接他，馬利亞卻仍然坐在家裡。

耶穌就站住，說：“把他叫過來。”他們就叫那瞎眼的人，對他說：“放心吧，起來，他叫你了。”

看門的給他開門，羊也聽他的聲音；他按著名字呼叫自己的羊，領牠們出來。

無論他進入哪一家，你們要對那家主說，老師說：‘我的客廳在哪裡？我和門徒好在那裡吃逾越節的晚餐。’

然後，我們還活著存留的人，必和他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主常常同在。所以，你們應該用這些話彼此勸慰。

聽啊！這是我良人的聲音，他躥山越嶺而來。我的良人像羚羊，像小鹿。看哪！他站在我們的牆後；從窗口觀看，從窗格往裡面探視。我的良人對我說：“我的佳偶啊！你起來吧。我的佳麗啊！你來吧。因為冬天已過，雨水止息，已經過去了。地上百花齊放，百鳥齊鳴的時候已經來到；斑鳩的聲音在我們境內也聽見了。無花果樹的果子漸漸成熟，葡萄樹開花發香，我的佳偶啊！你起來吧。我的佳麗啊！你來吧。我的鴿子啊！在巖石的穴中，在懸崖石的隱密處，讓我看看你的容貌；讓我聽聽你的聲音；因為你的聲音甜美，你的容貌秀麗。

耶穌對她說：“馬利亞！”她轉過身來，用希伯來話對他說：“拉波尼！”（就是“老師”的意思。）

腓力找到拿但業，告訴他：“摩西在律法書上所寫的，和眾先知所記的那位，我們已經遇見了，他就是約瑟的兒子拿撒勒人耶穌。”

他們走路的時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個名叫馬大的女人，接他到家裡。她有一個妹妹，名叫馬利亞，坐在主的腳前聽道。馬大被許多要作的事，弄得心煩意亂，就上前來，說：“主啊，我妹妹讓我一個人侍候，你不理嗎？請吩咐她來幫助我。”主回答她：“馬大，馬大，你為許多事操心忙碌，但是最需要的只有一件，馬利亞已經選擇了那上好的分，是不能從她奪去的。”

對家主說，老師問你：‘客廳在哪裡？我和門徒好在那裡吃逾越節的晚餐。’

到那日（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告），你們各人要邀請自己的鄰舍來，坐在葡萄樹下和無花果樹下。’”

他說：“你們到城裡去見某人，對他說，老師說：‘我的時候快到了；我要到你那裡和我的門徒守逾越節。’”

他先找到自己的哥哥西門，告訴他：“我們遇見彌賽亞了！”（“彌賽亞”的意思就是“基督”。）

所以，你們應該彼此勸慰，互相造就，正如你們一向所行的。

所以，你們要把下垂的手和發軟的腿挺直起來；
