耶穌曰、我由父多以善行示爾、爾因何行以石擊我乎、

耶穌曰、我奉父命、以多善事示爾、爾為何事、欲石擊我乎、

耶穌曰、我由我父、以多善事示爾、此諸事中、爾為何事以石擊我、

耶穌詰之曰：『予所示爾種種善工、莫非淵源自父、果胡為而欲以石相擊耶？』

but Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

Jesus answered them,“ Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

Then the Spirit of God came on Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood before the people and said,“ This is what God says:‘ Why do you disobey the Lord’s commands? You will not prosper. In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship. (niv)
