彼行可惡之事、豈知恥乎、非也、毫不知恥、亦不赧顏、故必仆於仆者之中、我譴責之際、彼必顚躓、耶和華言之矣、

彼行可惡之事、豈有羞惡之心哉、恬不知羞、毫不懷慙、故我耶和華降災之時、必使傾圮、淪胥以亡。

彼行可惡之事、知慚愧乎、彼毫不慚愧、不羞恥、故必傾仆於傾仆者之中、我鑒察之時、必顛蹶、主言之矣、○

Are they ashamed of their detestable conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; they will be brought down when they are punished, says the Lord.

因此甘霖停止，春雨不降。你还是一副娼妓之脸，不顾羞耻。

他们行可憎之事，应当羞愧；然而他们却一点也不觉得羞愧，也不知羞耻。因此，他们必与仆倒的人一同仆倒，我惩罚他们的时候，他们必跌倒。”这是耶和华说的。

看哪，这就是那不以神为保障的人，他只倚靠丰富的财物，在邪恶上坚立自己。

他们的脸色证明自己不正，他们述说自己像所多玛一样的罪恶，毫不隐瞒。他们有祸了！因为作恶自害。

勇士啊，你为何作恶自夸？神的慈爱是常存的。

伸冤报应在我，到了时候他们会失脚。因为他们遭难的日子近了，他们的厄运快要临到。

耶和华在它中间是公义的，断不做非义的事，每早晨显明他的公义，无日不然；只是不义的人不知羞耻。

到了惩罚的日子，以法莲必变为废墟；我在以色列众支派中，已指示将来必成的事。

那时，百姓如何，祭司也如何；仆人如何，主人也如何；婢女如何，主母也如何；买主如何，卖主也如何；放债的如何，借贷的也如何；债主如何，欠债的也如何。

他们的结局就是灭亡。他们的神明是自己的肚腹；他们以自己的羞辱为光荣，专以地上的事为念。

日间你必跌倒，夜间先知也要与你一同跌倒；我要灭绝你的母亲。我的百姓因无知识而灭亡。你抛弃知识，我也必抛弃你，使你不再作我的祭司。你既忘了你神的律法，我也必忘记你的儿女。

其中的先知同谋背叛，如咆哮的狮子抓撕掠物。他们吞灭人命，抢夺财宝，使这地寡妇增多。其中的祭司曲解我的律法，亵渎我的圣物，不分别圣与俗，也不使人分辨洁净和不洁净，又遮眼不顾我的安息日；在他们中间连我也被亵慢了。其中的领袖仿佛野狼抓撕掠物，流人的血，伤害人命，为得不义之财。其中的先知为他们粉刷，见虚假的异象，行谎诈的占卜，说：‘主耶和华如此说’，其实耶和华并没有说。这地的百姓惯行欺压抢夺之事，亏负困苦和贫穷的人，欺压寄居者，没有公平。我在他们中间寻找一人重修城墙，在我面前为这地站在缺口上，使我不致灭绝它，却连一个也找不着。所以我把愤怒倾倒在他们身上，用烈怒之火消灭他们，照他们所做的报应在他们头上。这是主耶和华说的。”

这百姓还没有归向击打他们的主，也没有寻求万军之耶和华。耶和华在一日之间从以色列中剪除了头与尾—棕树枝与芦苇—长老和显要就是头，以谎言教人的先知就是尾。因为引导这百姓的使他们走入迷途，被引导的都必被吞灭。所以，主不喜爱他们的青年，也不怜悯他们的孤儿和寡妇；因为他们都是亵渎的，行恶的，并且各人的口都说愚妄的话。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气并未转消；他的手依然伸出。
