當招集善射者來攻巴比倫、惟爾挽弓者、列營於其四周而困之、不容一人逃避、視其所為而報之、循其所行而待之、因居心狂傲、逆主以色列之聖主故也、

“ Summon archers against Babylon, all those who draw the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her for her deeds; do to her as she has done. For she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

“ Send for men armed with bows and arrows. Send them against Babylon. Set up camp all around it. Do not let anyone escape. Pay it back for what its people have done. Do to them what they have done to others. They have dared to disobey me. I am the Holy One of Israel.

“ Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. Encamp around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. For she has proudly defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

“ Send out a call for archers to come to Babylon. Surround the city so none can escape. Do to her as she has done to others, for she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

Summon the archers to Babylon, all who string the bow; camp all around her; let none escape. Repay her according to her deeds; just as she has done, do the same to her, for she has acted arrogantly against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

看哪，因我必激起大國聯盟，帶領他們從北方來攻擊巴比倫，他們要擺陣攻擊它，它必在那裏被攻取。他們的箭好像善射勇士的箭，絕不徒然返回。

龍又賜給那隻獸說誇大褻瀆話的口，又賜給牠權柄可以任意行事四十二個月。那獸就開口向神說褻瀆的話，褻瀆神的名和他的帳幕，就是那些住在天上的。

你心裏曾說：『我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座在神的眾星之上，我要坐在會眾聚集的山上，在極北的地方。我要升到高雲之上，我要與至高者同等。』

竟向天上的主自高，差人將他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、王后、妃嬪用這器皿飲酒。你又讚美那不能看、不能聽、無知無識，用金、銀、銅、鐵、木、石造的神明，沒有將榮耀歸與那手中掌管你氣息，管理你一切行動的神。

巴比倫哪，我為你設下羅網，你被纏住，竟不自覺。你被尋着，也被捉住，因為你對抗耶和華。

因他們曾流過聖徒與先知的血，現在你給他們血喝，這是他們該受的。」

將要被滅的巴比倫哪，用你待我們的惡行報復你的，那人有福了。抓起你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。

「王必任意而行，自高自大，超過所有的神明，又用荒謬的話攻擊萬神之神。他必行事亨通，直到主的憤怒結束，因為所定的事必然實現。

你們要從極遠的邊界前來攻擊它，要開它的倉廩，將它堆起如高堆，毀滅淨盡，絲毫不留。

「『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰，揚起聲來，高舉眼目攻擊誰呢？你攻擊的是以色列的聖者。

那抵擋者高抬自己超過一切稱為神明的，和一切受人敬拜的，甚至坐在神的殿裏，自稱為神。
