I shall kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them and carry them away captive. And he shall clean the land of Egypt as a shepherd cleans his cloak of vermin, and he shall go away from there in peace.

此外加之以愛、乃全善之綱領、

試以尊貴威嚴為飾、以榮光赫奕為衣、

衣以新人、即按天主像、以義及真理之聖德而造者、○

郇歟、醒哉醒哉、服爾華飾、服爾華飾或作衣被爾力聖邑耶路撒冷歟、衣爾麗服、未受割者、與污穢者、不得復入爾中、

當衣天主所賜之全身器械、使爾能敵魔之詭譎、

民曰、我因主欣喜、我心因我天主歡樂、蓋天主以拯救為衣衣我、以福祉福祉或作仁義下同為袍被我、使我若新娶者冠以華冠、若新婦飾以寶物、

必使彼之敵人蒙羞抱愧、使彼首戴冠冕、發顯榮光、

有人乘車而至、有乘馬者雙雙而來、大聲呼曰、巴比倫傾覆矣、傾覆矣、其諸神之偶像、擊碎而擲之於地、

當播告宣示於列邦、樹立旌旗、宣示勿隱、曰、巴比倫已陷、彼勒抱愧、米羅達見折、巴比倫之神像被辱、諸偶像見折、

以服與馬付於王臣中最顯者、俾以服衣王所榮之人、又使之乘馬、導之邑衢、宣告其前云、王所榮之人、待之如是、

夜已深、晝已近、當解暗昩之行、衣光明之甲冑、

外邦人起、牧爾群羊、異邦人將為爾耕田、修葡萄園、

主必向彼顯威可畏、廢去廢去或作除滅天下天下或作世間諸神、列國諸島之居民、各在己處、必崇拜主、

故爾既為天主所選聖潔蒙愛之人、則當懷矜憫、仁慈、謙遜、溫柔、忍耐、

以仁義為甲服之、以拯救為盔戴於首、以復仇為衣衣之、以熱中為袍被之、

我在巴比倫必罰彼勒、使之以所吞者哇而出之、列邦不再趨赴之、巴比倫之城垣傾覆、

非利士人遺其偶像、大衛與從者取之、
