“你去告诉古实人以伯米勒说，万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：我说降祸不降福的话必临到这城，到那时必在你面前成就了。

“ Go and tell Ebed- Melek the Cushite,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill my words against this city— words concerning disaster, not prosperity. At that time they will be fulfilled before your eyes.

“ Go. Speak to Ebed- Melek the Cushite. Tell him,‘ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ I am about to make the words I spoke against this city come true. I will not give success to it. Instead, I will bring horrible trouble on it. At that time my words will come true. You will see it with your own eyes.

“ Go, and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will fulfill my words against this city for harm and not for good, and they shall be accomplished before you on that day.

“ Say to Ebed melech the Ethiopian,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: I will do to this city everything I have threatened. I will send disaster, not prosperity. You will see its destruction,

“ Go tell Ebed-melech the Cushite,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill my words for disaster and not for good against this city. They will take place before your eyes on that day.

“ Go and speak to Ebed melech the Ethiopian, saying,‘ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Behold, I am going to bring My words on this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day.

“ Go and speak to Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian, saying,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Behold, I will bring My words upon this city for adversity and not for good, and they shall be performed in that day before you.

Go, and speak to Ebed- melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished before thee in that day.

“ Go tell Ebed-melech the Cushite: This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill My words for harm and not for good against this city. They will take place before your eyes on that day.

Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be[ accomplished] in that day before thee.

“ Go and tell Ebed-Melech the Ethiopian,‘ The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,“ I will carry out against this city what I promised. It will mean disaster and not good fortune for it. When that disaster happens, you will be there to see it.

“ Go, and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying,‘ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Behold, I will bring my words on this city for evil, and not for good; and they will be accomplished before you in that day.

主素警戒我儕及治我之士師、士師或作長者必降大災於我儕、今主之言已應矣、耶路撒冷所遇之災、天下各處、未嘗遭遇、

但我言我命、我所諭我僕眾先知者、豈不悉臨及爾祖乎、彼遂悛悔、自謂自謂或作曰萬有之主已擬定、擬定或作立志循我道途道途或作動作行為、施報我身、已若是行於我矣、○

於是土地荒蕪休息、若享安息年、歷七十年、應耶利米所傳主之言、

又有一人、藉主之命述預言、即基列耶琳人示瑪雅子烏利亞者、彼預言斯邑斯地必毀、與耶利米言無異、

主如是云、惟猶大王西底家、與其牧伯、及耶路撒冷之遺民、尚遺於斯地者、及旅於伊及者、我必使若此劣甚不可食之劣無花果、我必使天下萬國、加之凌虐惡待、使其被羞辱、被諷刺、被譏誚、被咒詛、在我所逐之之各處、我必使其遭鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、以至滅於我所賜彼及其列祖之地焉、

今我將逝世行世人所必行之路、爾當一心一意、明知主爾天主許福於爾之言、無一或失、皆應於爾、一無所遺、主爾天主所許爾之福、既俱臨爾、主亦能使諸禍臨爾、滅爾於主爾天主所賜爾之美地、

主以色列之天主如是云、爾往見猶大王西底家、告之曰、主如是云、我將付斯邑於巴比倫王手、必以火焚燬、爾不得脫其手、必為人所執、付於巴比倫王手、而鞫詰問、面鞫詰問原文作爾之目將見巴比倫王之目其口將與爾口言爾必至巴比倫、

因此主萬有之天主以色列之天主如是云、我所言降於猶大人及耶路撒冷居民之諸災、必降於其身、因我命之而彼不聽、我召之而彼不應故、

當猶大王希西家之時、摩利沙人米迦為先知、告猶大民眾云、萬有之主如是云、郇將變為田、為人所耕、耶路撒冷將變為瓦礫、斯殿之山、將如林中荒邱、

使我目睹我仇敵遭報、耳聽起而攻我之惡人受罰、

主如是云、我必以斯邑付於迦勒底人手、與巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手、攻取斯邑、攻邑之迦勒底人、必來以火焚斯邑、斯邑之民、曾在屋頂、焚香於巴力、奠酒於他神、干我震怒、故此屋俱必焚燬、

故主萬有之天主如是云、因爾曹有斯言、故我必使我言於爾口為火、使民為薪、焚燬務盡、

告之曰、萬有之主如是云、我必毀此民與此邑、如毀陶人之器、不能復完、死者既眾、無地可埋、必埋於陀斐特、主曰、我必待斯地與其居民如是、必使斯邑如陀斐特然、

天地可廢、我言不廢、

王宮內有宦官、古實人以伯米勒、聞人下耶利米於坑、知王坐於便雅憫門、則出王宮奏王曰、我主我王、今邑中絕糧、先知耶利米在獄院原居之處、已幾乎餓死、今牧伯更下之於坑、彼眾向耶利米所行者甚不善、或作我主我王斯人將先知耶利米下之於坑彼眾向耶利米所行者甚不善耶利米必餓死於彼因城中絕糧王諭古實人以伯米勒曰、爾自此攜三十人、乘先知耶利米未死、出之於坑、以伯米勒率眾入王宮、至庫樓下、自彼取舊爛之布片、與破敝之衣服、繫之以繩、縋下坑中、至耶利米所、古實人以伯米勒謂耶利米曰、以此舊爛之布片、與破敝之衣服、置於爾腋下、使繩在其上、耶利米如言而行、眾以繩曳耶利米、自坑中而上、於是耶利米仍居獄院、

我必罰其罪、及其子孫臣僕之罪、我曾言、必降諸災於耶路撒冷居民及猶大人、而彼不聽、今我必降斯災、

主曰、斯後我必以猶大王西底家、與其諸臣眾軍、及在斯邑中、遭瘟疫鋒刃饑饉、所遺之人、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、其敵之手、索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐憫、不矜恤、爾又告斯民曰、主如是云、今日我以生道死道、置於爾前、凡居斯邑者、必遇鋒刃饑饉瘟疫而亡、凡出而降於圍困爾之迦勒底人者、則得存活、得保全其生命、主曰、我震怒斯邑、降禍不降福、必付於巴比倫王手、必以火焚燬、

然爾當知如爾殺我、則殺無辜、使罪歸爾身與斯邑、及其居民、因主實遣我就爾、以此諸言告爾、

其得脫於鋒刃、自伊及地復歸猶大地者、數人而已、厥後猶大遺民、至伊及以居者、必知誰之言應驗、我之言歟、抑彼之言歟、主曰、我在伊及伊及原文作斯處將罰爾、有兆可證、使爾知我言降災於爾、必有效驗、

爾惟眼見此事、必得睹惡人遭報、因我所倚賴之主、即至上之主、爾亦仰望護庇爾、
