但不信的猶太人心裏嫉妒，聚集了些市井流氓，搭夥成羣，煽動全城的人闖進耶孫的家，要把保羅和西拉帶到民眾那裏。

於是大衛動身，和跟隨他的六百人投奔瑪俄的兒子迦特王亞吉去了。
